Dear Microsoft To Do team,
First of all, I would like to express my appreciation for the user-friendly interface and functionality of Microsoft To Do. It has been an invaluable tool for managing my daily tasks.
However, I would like to suggest an improvement regarding the recurring tasks feature. Currently, when I complete a recurring task late, the missed instances continue to appear with future dates, causing a backlog of tasks that can become confusing and clutter the overview.
I would like to propose an option for users to automatically delete all missed instances when a recurring task is completed late, and allow the recurrence to continue from the most recent date. This would greatly help in keeping the task list organized and prevent duplicates or outdated tasks from appearing.
This feature would significantly improve the workflow, especially for users like myself who frequently rely on high-frequency recurring tasks.
Thank you in advance for considering my suggestion. I look forward to future updates and improvements to Microsoft To Do.
Best regards,
