Very happy that iOS version rolled back to the original version. Please leave it as it is and never come with an update that was so badly preparered and showed an enormous loss of functionality.

Does not work after the update. After login no photo to see. Please test your Application before you put it in the Appstore. Also the new Android version doesn’t work.

The new version of the Flickr app takes away all the fun and conveniance of the version before. It takes serveral tries to update the Notifications (!)
And I can’t swipe from pic to pic when watching other peoples pics

After the update it is not possible anymore to add your pictures to a group. Where is this possibility?
Please come with a solution.

The last update is terrible! It takes away A LOT of the fun I had with the previous version. This sucks. Huge!

The previous app was bad, but this one is even worse. Can’t put photos in a group AT ALL! Had to try four times before my photo would upload. And why can’t I see my previously used tags? Now I only see some ai inspired tags. Have to use the website for now cause the app is totally useless. Never heard of beta testing?

I was happy with the new app. Updated, quicker… but when downloading my own photos on my phone, I get a low res photo… not the high res one as in the old app.

Tried making two accounts in a row with two different mainstream email providers. Used Edge, Safari, Firefox, Chrome, Brave, Waterfox and Librewolf with cleared cache and cookies (on desktop). Can’t log in after clicking on verify account link I got in email. Honestly. I got nostalgic as a millennial and wanted to make an effort using a service not owned by google, microslop and meta, but I guess you get what you proverbially pay for in a sense. Don’t bother people. You can’t even make an account.

A good app to display and view photos. It works in a natural way without pushy algorithms.

Ik gebruik Flickr als backup voor m’n iCloud foto’s. De Apple foto app is goed, maar Flickr is beter. Makkelijk delen, fantastische diavoorstelling, makkelijk taggen. Top app.

On the other hand the website really sucks on an iPhone and even on an iPad.
Update January 2026: it still sucks. Can’t add photos to groups when posting, can’t see photos posted in groups, can’t do anything with groups while they are the heart of Flickr.

The app is so much worse compared to the website. Uploading a photo removes location data and sometimes even exif data.
