Drumgenius

Drumgenius is a great practice app for every musician to play at home. It has a wide variety of drum loops. You can easily ajust the bpm and settings. I think it is well worth your money.
It would be even greater if you could export the drum loops to apps like OnSong, so you can use it at small “one-(wo)man-band” performances. Maybe something for future development!

Good app for any style or rhythm. Unfortunately jazz ballad is unuseable due to continuous hissing sound.

I like the app but after an update my loops i already bought I am told that I have to buy them again. Only one loop stil working
That’s not fair

After a very few repeats the drum genius changes to an arbitrarious mode. Letting sound the given rhythm completely irregular. So as a metronoom it is useless.
I regret the money I spend to buy this app.

I like the app but on the iPad the app is always upside down (it does not turn with how the iPad is standing on my desk). Can you please fix this bug?

As a bass player I highly value DrumGenius. Since I don’t have much time I just grab my bass whenever I can and just jam away on my own. Now with DrumGenius I have the luxury of jamming along to these amazing drum tracks.
Also the ease of use when learning difficult licks at slower tempo’s and gradually increasing speed is a great feature.
I saw this app being used by Simon Peter King and I instantly knew I must have it.

Drumgenius other than being a small encyclopedia of rhythms it’s a great and fun way to practice. I use it daily.

I can’t find anything similar that’s better than Drum Genius. High quality sounds. Patterns mostly all transcribed from original jazz recordings. Big collection with many variations for most of the common and some uncommon rhythms in jazz music. Highly recommended if you want to get the feeling of a good drummer playing along with you.

Brilliant idea and very simple yet complete execution. You can play with the great drummers of all time. An inspiring and much more complete device to jam along with then that good old metronome.
One problem: by reinstalling the last update de store doesn't show prices so I can not reinstall my bought loops, hope for a quick fix on this.

Gekocht via m'n iPhone, daarna geprobeerd te openen op m'n iPad, werkt niet meer, kan alleen maar 3 rhythms downloaden.

Wow, it is great to practice walking bass with the feeling and sound of a lot of drum heroes.
