VOX – MP3 & FLAC Music Player

6 years ago i made a review that the Vox app did not support multiple albumcovers in one album.
Instead of showing the different album covers, Vox just picks the first album cover and shows this for every song.
Back than the Vox team said they would fix it.
Now it is 6 years later and it still hasn’t been fixed.
This is so annoying.

After a few years I tried a subscription again. NOT a great success so far. Syncing takes forever. And after a day or two still not all songs are synced. Most cover jpg’s are not syncing either. So no improvement. Too bad because the idea is good. But it needs a lot of improvement.

Audio quality sounds amazing over bluetooth + added functionality for youtube streaming is amazing as well! 5/5 stars

The app is terrible. After a month of not using it I couldn’t access any radio stations any more. I deleted and reinstalled the app and I cannot even sign in any more, let alone restore the subscription. Just ridiculous for a paid app

The app is not intuitive. There appears not to be an option to add local files from Files app. No option to not use an account.

So u made an upgrade just to inform people as “latest upgrades” that u are ukrainian company and that russia is bombarding ukraine. why even reach this sensitive matter here? Give up guys, u dont even implement what u should in this app... (and ur custommer support does not even respond -pre-war). Hence 2*

Why is there support for Spotify playlists but not Apple Music? Would buy premium if it did..

Not able to login on SoundCloud, doesn’t matter what computer I use. My iPhone or iPad, with or without VPN, different networks. This App sucks, luckily I’m not premium with this VOX. Such a same

If it didn’t crash so much. I am paying for premium and I legitimately thinking of moving my music someplace else. Both airplay and Bluetooth are crashing almost constantly

The only reason I wanted this application is that you could listen stereo HiFi sound, why do we have to pay for thaattt :(

Absolute junk. I’ve given up after 3 attempts to get this working and it’s clear the developer’s do not have a clue what they are doing well enough to make the potential this app deserves. Binned.

This is by far the best music player out there. The interface, the controls, everything is spot on. I gladly would pay for a yearly membership but the only thing keeping me from this is the lack of real DSD support. Now it’s gets converted to pcm, that is just such a bummer. I’ve read in 2018 they are thinking of adding real DSD support, but come on guys it’s 2020 and still nothing yet....

Three times I’ve installed the app on my iPod touch (7th gen. iOS 13.2.2). It’s a great audio player with a fine UI. But first it gets stuck and then it crashes. Again and again..
I hope it gets fixed.

VOX is really great on iOS but on Carplay it is bit cumbersome. Sometimes radio stations just switch to another favorite one every few minutes (irregularly). And another annoying thing is the library on Carplay. I want album view but there is nothing else than artist view.
Please give it some attention and I will give 5 stars. It is really worth those.

Please tell me you are not monetizing on spotify’s shortcomings.. :/

To add songs to your collections you need to add track by track. Please add the ability to add a whole playlist to your collections.

I switched from the native iOS music app to Vox for gapless playing of my mp3 collection.
This works better in Vox.
However...
I was greatly disappointent to discover that Vox will not display the albumcovers correctly.
If there are different albumcovers in an album, Vox just picks the first cover and uses this for the whole album.
For me, this is terrible.
I have selected and edited every single albumcover myself, hours of Photoshop, and now it is all gone....
Please fix this.....

The app is great, but after the last update the sync for spotify playlists doesn’t work.
