Strongbox - Password Manager

v1.63.2 doesn’t crash anymore!
v1.63.0 makes app crash after dismissing ‘Scheduled Export’ screen. So app has become unusable.

As a heavy user of keepass on Windows, this is “the App” to have on all Apple the Apple devices you have.
Absolutely gem and I applaud the developers.

Some bug results in unable to update the database from Files. It keeps using a weeks old cached version, even after deleting the app.

Great app that integrates very well with iOS devices. I’ve replaced this app with the standard Apple password manager. With many storage providers you can choose it is a no-brainer not to use this app.

Good working program, well integrated with iOS, the support desk is helping well in case of issues

Ik ben onlangs overgestapt van Bitwarden naar Strongbox Pro. Reden: na ruim 5 jaar merk ik dat Bitwarden technisch wel vooruit komt, maar dat de focus minder ligt op de gebruiksvriendelijkheid. En dat is jammer, want ik gebruik iOS om het leven makkelijker te maken. Strongbox lijkt een native Apple app. En als er problemen zijn (ik draai de beta versie van iOS) dan lost het team achter Strongbox dit ontzettend snel op. Dit blijft natuurlijk mijn eigen risico, maar de developers zijn echt heel betrokken met hun klanten. Dat is heel mooi om te zien. Ik wil jullie heel erg bedanken voor deze mooie, functionele app. Ik gebruik de native Passwords app niet, omdat ik mijn wachtwoorden los van Apple wil bewaren. Mocht ik ooit mijn account kwijtraken dan ben ik niet al mijn wachtwoorden kwijt, zo lang ik maar kies voor een externe wachtwoord manager met de mogelijkheid om zelf (makkelijk) backups te maken. Nogmaals, heel erg bedankt. Jullie hebben er een fan bij!

I am very pleased with this app. For some time now I have been looking for a replacement for 1PW7 and, of all the possible contenders I tested, Strongbox came out best. Despite some apparent uncertainty about iCloud sync it actually works just fine. Import from 1PW was perfect including many attachments of various sizes; the app creates categories as required for every type of item; AutoFill works well in Safari. This meets all my requirements. The app is stable, is updated regularly and there is good support info online. The UI perhaps misses some of the polish of 1PW but I find this only a minor shortcoming. Recommended.

Devices strongbox - they all access the same database and it works fluently. Can’t do without anymore. Worth the paid version !

I was looking for a Windows & Mac compatible keepass manager, unlucky strongbox does not support windows but the kdbx file on my icloud drive on windows almost perfectly.

Bought the Lifetime Pro version of this app and I love it. Combined with my yubikey this setup is great. Also their support is responsive and helpful too.

1Password practically forced me into their new software with cloud storage and I’m glad I found Strongbox. Does everything I want and can use it across multiple devices. Support is also good. Keep up the good work!

Works great when you have you keeppass file in Onedrive to share cross platforms. Even when out of sync it has a really useful automerge function to align the different versions. Also works great as replacement password manager on iOS. Need password suggestion in readable words.

I have been using Keepass for many years now, trying out various apps. And I must say, this is hands-down the best app. You will pay a bit for it, but you will get a very high quality, stable and feature-rich app back that functions on both iOS and MacOS.

Started using Strongbox only on my iPhone, but after discovering the stability, ease of use and wonderful support, gladly installed it on iPad and Macbook as well. Integrates seamlessly, works like a charm. Definitely a must-have for users with a lot of passwords.

Used another (Keepass file format) password manager before, but that one was discontinued. After some searching I found Strongbox; and I wish I found it earlier because Strongbox is just SO easy to use in combination with WebDAV. Well maintained by the developer(s), too. Worth the money for the in-app purchase.

Because the tech world is so iffy that you are required to manage ever more complex and ever more passwords, they achieve the opposite. I had a default password for lots of stuff.
This passwordsafe vault format is brilliant. Integration with iPhone OS as well. I never worry about remembering passwords as StrongBox takes care of it. I set it up to sync via Cloud Storage, so it is available on all devices.
