Honestly not sure why this is app of the year, with all due respect for the fun feature :) This app is extremely limited. It picks whatever it wants to do, offering you hardly any control. Also seems to be impossible to shoot normal pics with it. Hardly anything cam be configured. This makes it rather much of a one-trick pony you will only rarely use as it’s useless for any picture-shooting purpose other than the sole purpose of the app. On top of that, it just... Doesn’t seem to be that intelligent, the results are temperamental and may end up being useless - and you can’t help the app understand what you want either due to the aforementioned lack of controls. I had expected much more of this app and consider myself disappointed. This stuff could better be merged in to Halide, then at least you have a fully functional app and Spectre’s featureset as an optional feature to use. Technically, Spectre is a glorified add-on for Halide put in a standalone app. It’s cool, don’t get me wrong, but extremely limited - strange they put this in the store as a standalone app.
