Seeking Alpha: News & Analysis

Tonight (14-9-24) I was looking on seeking alpha, my favorite stock market app!
However now with every news item so from company to private person with an analysis of a company you are forced on premium subscription! Without notice and I find almost 250 euros on an annual basis too pricey.
If this continues the app will go away. Very unfortunate because it was a great tool.

Good app. One drawback is that if you want to save news items that older posts keep getting added.
Reported on forum but still not solved. I want to save news items for dividend or acquisition news.
If bug fixed the app becomes 5 stars for me

So what is the use of it? Limited articles. Blocked by app to sell you a subscription but you can them online. So I wont use the app. Pfff

lots of information, but leads in only 5% of cases to profit. say what 5? Obtaining ROI is difficult. Most profits are made overnight by WallStreet traders. See the CELG case.

The app used to be sooo good and fast. And now they switched to some halfass web version. Why? Who thought this was a good idea, did you even usertest? I cant share articles anymore as there is no sharing possibility. Unfortunately i stay for the content and have to put up with this crap.

I can really recommend this app as it provides simple, no nonsense and unbiased analysis that is required to make sound investment decisions. Well done and keep up the good work!

SeekingAlpha is great. Facts and analysis. Not like many others who are just eager to sell their services and don’t care about you....
The app is simple, straight forward. Excellent.

When trying to submit a comment an error message comes up. Have reported this several times but SA seems unable to fix it. Used to be good but now I’m too frustrated and will be deleting the app.

I read and comment on SA, but this app simply does not work. Reading is ok, but when trying to post a comment I always get an error. It is simply not possible.
Waited a long time hoping SA would fix, but will now delete the app.

Since the last update, the app has not been working properly. Notifications on companies in the different portfoliOS don’t come through and articles won’t load. I can’t scroll down in the portfoliOS either. Hopefully they’ll fix it soon, it used to be a great app.

Hello friends,
Many of the features are not working. News is loading randomly. Not able to edit portfolio always keeps saying no connection. Notifications center shows error message which is in code language.

This app is amazing! It gives investors the oppertunity to broaden their view on a stock by reading the analysis of TOP authors! A MUST HAVE for investors!

Use it daily to stay informed about not so public known investment opportunities. Works great!

No global focus but only on us niche market

I see no detailed information or news on non niche (us) stocks

So 99% of stock market is out scoped

I advice to select apps that have global focus instead of apps like this one that has extreme limited view on the world
