one sec | schermtijd & focus

Krijg m met geen mogelijkheid aan de praat, hij blijft openen in het set up gedeelte van de ap en niet in de animaties. Helaas

More often than I’d like I cannot access my apps because one sec thinks its in sleep focus. Even when it is not and its in the middle of the day. Annoying.

It’s okay but not amazing since you can only do it for one app. I recommend using ScreenZen because it’s totally free and more customisable!

I gave one sec a positive review, but I need to revise it.
The Strict Block option is the only reason I chose this app again and decided to pay for it. However, I’ve noticed that the same two apps occasionally become active again, which is frustrating. Please fix this.
P.S. The video tutorials show an interface that doesn’t match the app.

The blocked apps open for a sec before the blocker kicks in. The BETA features don't work at all

Goede app om inzicht te krijgen in je schermtijd. Op een leuke interactieve manier. Waarin je veel zelf de regie hebt.

I’ve tried several other apps, but I always come back to One Sec. While the initial setup can be a bit challenging, once it’s done, the app works seamlessly. As an early adopter, I appreciate that the pricing is very reasonable compared to similar apps. For me, it’s a reliable and effective tool that truly helps me stay mindful. Highly recommend!

Eenmaal deze app ingesteld glijdt er langzaam een “zen” achtig scherm omhoog zodra ik een verslavende app wil openen. Het “zen”achtige scherm glijdt na een seconde weer terug naar beneden en geeft ondertussen de suggestie om eens diep adem te halen.
Daarna moet je aanklikken of je toch de verslavende app wil openen en zo ja, waarom (bv. uit verveling, of jouw reden zelf verder in te vullen) of toch maar niet de verslavende app wil openen. Dit werkt voor mij. Het extra ademhalen irriteert me soms ook, maar dat is achteraf gezien de verslaving die spreekt.
Zoals ik al in de titel schreef geeft die extra ademhaling, voordat ik een verslavende app open, mij meer bewustwording. Ik gebruik dit nu zo’n 10 maanden. Het is me gelukt een lang opgebouwd (verslavings)patroon te doorbreken.

The app itself is great, especially the irreversible adult block. One small problem, when you enable a block for a certain time (with apps selected inside the list) the one sec app itself is blocked but not the apps in the list? Is this the intended behavior? I would expect it to block the app inside the list

The fact that you can't choose to hide the menu bar item, makes it a dealbreaker for me. Not every app needs a menu bar item. I already have enough things over there :)

As soon as the intervention starts you can switch to one.sec by pulling up from the bottom of the screen. There you can adjust the intervention schedule. Takes 2s. This has become a habit making the app useless. PLEASE PUT THIS BEHIND A LONG INTERVENTION TOO

first app, after trying many others, that’s actually been effective for me.
contains a lot of useful features, at least with the pro subscription.

Please make it so that you have to go trough an intervention to turn ‘intervention on app’ off. I have very low self discipline and find myself just turning intervention on app off instead of waiting

The onboarding process is overly complicated compared to other apps, and the UI/UX is terrible. Additionally, the "blocking" feature has numerous issues, such as being able to select more than 50 apps, resulting in the blocking not working at all. Furthermore, changing the timer does not update the success screen, which continues to count up with 20 minutes. This app feels outdated, likely created years ago and now surpassed by newer innovations.

Dear developer, the app generally works great but unfortunately doesn’t block porn in private mode. Could you please fix this?

This app really helped me reduce my screen time by making me think twice before opening instagram as a habit. Too bad you can only have 1 app when you don’t pay for the premium version, im getting kinda sick of all these apps having paid subscriptions. €15,- per year to have unlimited apps seems way to high to me.
