"one sec" gebruikt Opdrachten Automatisering om een diepe adempauze animatie in te schakelen wanneer je een van de geconfigureerde apps opent (Instagram, Twitter, YouTube…). Dit breekt onbewuste kortetermijngewoonten van sociale media (letterlijk zodra je dit hebt ingesteld) en helpt zelfs op langetermijn door meer weerstand toe te voegen bij het openen van deze apps.
Mindfulness is een staat van actieve, open aandacht voor het moment: wilde je Instagram echt openen? Of was het gewoon omdat je je verveelde toen je op je bus wachtte?
Deze app helpt je om je acties, gedachten en gevoelens te reflecteren; waardoor het schadelijke sociale media gewoonten verstoort met mindfulness.
Bovendien draagt “one sec” ook je mindfulness momenten bij aan de gezondheidsapp via HealthKit.

We’re celebrating one sec’s 5th birthday this month.
It’s hard to believe that it’s been 5 years already since I started working on one sec.
I’m grateful every day I get to work on such an impactful app with the best team I could wish for!
This summer, we’ve been working extremely hard on a large list of new features, improvements and bug-fixes and we can’t wait to get it into your hands.

…a new conversational reflection intervention using the new on-device LLM helping you to reflect even more on why you open apps.
…a much improved ”Good Morning Countdown“ that now integrates with the new no-mercy alarm clock app “Awake”.
…many many design refinements and bug fixes throughout one sec.

Good idea but buggy
The blocked apps open for a sec before the blocker kicks in. The BETA features don't work at all

Goede app om inzicht te krijgen in je schermtijd. Op een leuke interactieve manier. Waarin je veel zelf de regie hebt.
Just great
I’ve tried several other apps, but I always come back to One Sec. While the initial setup can be a bit challenging, once it’s done, the app works seamlessly. As an early adopter, I appreciate that the pricing is very reasonable compared to similar apps. For me, it’s a reliable and effective tool that truly helps me stay mindful. Highly recommend!
