It pretty good at what it’s supposed to do, but the additional functionality sucks.
The editor doesn’t work. You can edit images all you like but the result isn’t saved. So that’s totally useless.
Tried the eraser. It erases but the result isn’t saved.
Why do you add things that don’t work?
And why do I have to manually sync?
Why doesn’t it sync automatically?

In Apple’s iOS Photos App, you can set a specific photo in an album as that album’s thumbnail. If you do not, the app will select the last photo added. Effect: it makes it less visually easy to find the album you are looking for of you have lots of albums. So this function is actually great, especially considering how bad Apple’s Photos app is.
The Problem with this HashPhotos app is that it randomly overrides the set thumbnail photos of your albums. So when you try to add photos to albums and you are looking for a specific album by it’s thumbnail, you quickly miss the album you are looking for. So if you are visually inclined, visually impaired or dyslectic - this app has a major flaw
A developer explained to me:
“In HashPhotos, the album cover image in the album selection screen is shown as the photo you have designated. Only in the Viewer’s album bar, the most recently added photo is used as the album cover so that you can immediately confirm which photo was added. If you notice behavior that differs from this and believe it to be a bug, please contact us”
My reaction to that:
1. This just recently started happening - 1-2 months ago. Prior to this, this app was not exhibiting this behaviour (bug or feature).
2. The Viewers Album Bar is still exhibiting ‘BOTH’ Behaviours: sometimes it would maintain the ‘set’ album thumbnail picture and sometimes it would overwrite it with the last added picture.
Conclusion: whether it’s a bug or feature, this part is very inconsistent and therefore pretty buggy

Everything that I used is now apparently behind a paying wall. Only basic functions work, and all my albums that I’ve created are gone….

Mooie app maar irritant dat bewerkt filmpje niet hersteld kan worden naar originele staat zoals in de Foto app.

Jammer, fijne app, maar niet in het Nederlands. Waarom niet…? Te moeilijk zeker.

I installed the app on my Windows 10 laptop but when i try to tranfer photos like you described the app keeps searching for devices. Please help...

de tags werken geweldig om je foto’s te ordenen en het is ook fijn om een notitie aan een foto te kunnen verbinden.
Uitstekend programma.
Zoeken op inhoud van een notitie zou nog een mooie toevoeging zijn.

Onbegrijpelijk dat Apple je nog steeds geen tags of labels aan foto’s laat hangen. Mooi dat dit alsnog kan met deze app!

It always was a bit frustrating to not be able to create folders for albums.. But this app does that! And many more. No words, it’s a life saver!

Works great in filtering and organizing photo’s based on extra Information (exif) that your iPhone doesn’t show you.

Overzichtelijk, snel, en veel gratis tools. Ook mag je de pro-opties 3 maal uitproberen. Geen in-app reclame terreur gevonden.

Keeps on updating over and over again. Have to remove this app with pain in my heart. Hope they can fix this soon.

HashPhotos did indeed arrange my photo collection, but upon my phone connecting to my Mac to add and store it in my Photo program on OS X 10.11.4, it had caused a complete upset on my iPhone, requiring a full factory reset of my iPhone, as it could no longer be read by iTunes on my Mac. A lot of photo’s were lost this way - sorry, no more HashPhotos for me…...
