It was really hard to type with and the fonts were annoying, the controls were quite nice though but it was just not easy to use overall

Can’t switch the language of the keyboard! Thought it was a multi language app as descriped... ☹️ But on my iPhone I have an English keyboard (?)

Workes like a charm before but after iOS 14 it will not get past the initial Hanx screen. Too bad

Ik gebruik al jaren miTypewriter voor het tikken van langere stukken en het leek me leuk, om met deze app het toetsenbord in andere toepassingen te gebruiken. Nadat je die optie als in-app aankoop hebt krijg je de mogelijkheid de VOORWAARDEN te lezen.
Lees die! Dat gaat niet makkelijk, weg is de ronkende taal en flitsende opmaak. Het zijn lichtgrijze lettertjes op een helwitte achtergrond: ze hebben liever niet, dat je ze echt leest. Daar moeten de alarmbelletjes al afgaan.
Niemand, die zijn denkvermogen nog niet volledig heeft uitbesteed aan zijn touchscreen, gaat dit willen. ALLES wat je invoert -beveiligde pagina / app of niet- wordt opgeslagen op de servers van dit bedrijf in Amerika, herleidbaar naar individuele gebruikers en gebruikt met als doel “een nog beter bedrijf te worden”.
Ik heb onmiddellijk mijn aankoop gecanceld. Dat gaat tegenwoordig dan weer wel heel makkelijk bij Apple, waarvoor hulde.

An excellent application with a clear key board as it not only used to be but as it should be. It creates an atmosphere of serenity: just sit back and relax while writing. Excellent in all it's simplicity.

Great app! Every time I used it , I can remember how I enjoyed to write on my father’s typewriter, it is almost like back in time. Thanks a lot. By the way, will be great if this app has a link to a group where people can share stories

There is nothing better to get creativity flowing than the sounds of a typewriter.

Love the App ... and the Sound ... gives me the feeling working on a Antique Typwriter in a Modern way ......

I really like this app but I'm worried that if I buy the hole pack they will update it and I'll have to pay it all over to have everything

I use Hanx writer a lot! For a long time. Because I'm writing a book.
But today - after I had an update from iOS yesterday - all my work is gone! I'm desperet, so please can anyone help me to find my work back?

I very much like the need to use the carriage return in this app, it does not bring you to the next line automatically.
I still have my old Olivetti Studio 44 - but I do not work with it any longer. But this app, I might use it now and than to write.

Brings back good old memories.... Love this one!
App works good on iPad mini 3 with keyboard.

Mooi en herkenbaar ouderwets geluid. Tikje onhandig over meerdere pagina's.
Ook ik hoop op opties met meerkleurenlint.

It looks and sounds great. With the use of a Bluetooth keyboard, you think it's an old typewriter you're working add. Really nice.
A few small graphic errors, but these are not that important. I hope they come with a few more options, like more color selection of background etc.
The optional package is a bit expensive, but worth the experience. It's disappointing that the app doesn't support the iOS family share, so I had to buy the bundle two times.
Tip: log-in with the original Apple ID on the other iPads to restore purchases. I forgot that, unfortunately.

Erg leuke app voor wie tijdens het creatieve schrijfproces, het geluid van een ouderwets degelijke typemachine mist. Werkt zeer stimulerend! Let op de hoofdletters.
Minpuntje: de hendel ter linkerzijde is slechts virtueel!

This is a fun app, I love the genuine typewriter feel. With my external keyboard on my iPad 4 under iOS 8, the keyboard stops working as soon as I hide it from the screen with the in-app button intended for that purpose. So I deleted the app from my iPad...
