This version i cna't install on my MacOS Montery 12.7.6 , i'm getting an error " can't not be installed "

Bought this app when it was a paid app. Now I have to purchase an upgrade to get the functionality I had already paid for. Customer support told me they had generously “upgraded” my paid app to a free one. They told me I had not lost any functionality but this isn’t true as I used to be able to edit which I can no longer do without paying…..again!
Very annoyed and won’t purchase from them again.

With it’s possibilities this is a great product but after a major upgrade I am lost. Simple things like binding notes or making dotted notes are hard to find out and still show unpredictable behaviour, it takes a lot of attention from the main purpose: writing down music. The manual is not good, information is missing and a search sends you to a complete chapter, not to what you are looking for. There is no screenshot with explanation of all the buttons you you can choose from, at least I cannot find it. A better manual with clear how-to’s would help a lot, the video’s are as unpredictable as the app: will it show what I want to know.

Took some time but got used to the update and there are many improvements! But the old version made beautifull prints, but since the update the notes are thick and crowded on the paper. The syncope function behaves not always in a reliable way suddenly. Delete (empty) measures doesn’t work. Hope to see this fixed soon.

This was one of my favorite apps. I’m a music teacher and I used it al the time to write down short songs. Since the update so much had changed and I do no longer understand how it works. Pencil doesn’t work anymore. I contacted help desk several times, nothing is solved.
Why did you change so much? Can I contact you in Dutch?

I’m running this app on an iPad Pro 3rd generation and I bought the in-app pencil recognition.
Presently I use the app by importing XML-files, which do not impose any problem in MuseScore. These XML-files are generated from a PDF-file by SheetMusicScanner.
I switched off the pencil-input option, but it still gets activated (in options still switched off) and then intervenes with the other input.
In the beginning you can change the instrument and the long/short names. After 2 or 3 parts this becomes impossible; the app freezes and other input becomes impossible.
The app freezes also on various other actions like exporting the file, inserting flats/sharps or any other type of alteration of the score.
I re-installed the app twice. But after the second (the third when I include the initial installation) installation the app remains frozen. I cannot open another score anymore because I cannot reach the homepage of the app anymore.
I restarted the iPad now three times and the app stays frozen.
I cannot recommend this app in any way.

Without any warning the product was updated and I am lost. My first imported score does not play any sound, after some messing around only one part of the 5 was played. After saving the file and reopening it finally played all 5 parts. But now I want to select 1 part (track) and this option had disappeared. I used to use it many times. I cannot get any help anymore because I have no clue on where to find my product key. And the personus site does not tell you where to find it.

1 year ago I bought this app including the handwriting option, and it was a very nice program with lots of options. But after updating the app to version 3.0, there is no Restore Purchase possible. You can click the restore option but nothing happens! How can this be solved, else I’ve lost a total purchase of 26 Euro for this complete app?

There are few improvements made to the poor UX of this app. I still cannot do basic things like insert a notes or rest in between notes in the same measure. The manual is incomplete and not maintained.

I use Notion for my piano lessons. My pupils also have it. I can send them exercises, pieces with extra fingering, accompaniments for unisono pieces for beginners and quatre-mains parts. We love the app. Works like a charm especially after the recent updates. Can do almost anything. Easy to use. Thanks for this beautifull piece of software!

Of course, this could be a temporary issue, or due to personal usage, but I immediately applied for a refund on the apple store. As per december 2020 I do not recommend this.

I am very happy with the recent update. Now the app feels stable. Love the simple and intuitive UI.

The lyric function don’t work sins the latest system update 13.4
Please fix it.

I don’t like this app. The layout is confusing and the handwriting tool doesn’t work that good. I would like to get my money back but it seems impossible

I play the drums professionally for over 30 years and am constantly looking for the options of writing my parts for the rehearsals, my own ideas, for my students etc in the format that I can easily switch platforms. I bought the app some years ago on advise of my colleague. Somehow I couldn’t get the ease of writing the parts quickly without going in loops and wasting a lot of time with not satisfying result. Yesterday I saw for the first time an option of handwriting and bought it right away. Alas, writing decent parts with the Apple Pencil is not possible... as soon as I write something it’s totally misinterpreted and writing the hi-hat parts (X) is impossible. I don’t want to sound negative but after paying more than €20 I hope to get some results. Some reaction from the developer would be much appreciated! If not I’m forced to choose the option of the refund.

I bought this yesterday with the handwriting tool and Not very impressed. This app limits you to two voices which in guitar music is ridiculous; you have to buy the desktop version (much more expensive) and then you get - wait for it - four(!) voices. For the money spent, this app is far from what can be expected. Guitar Pro, Sibelius and MuseScore offer better alternatives for less money. I guess I should have been warned: the app has not been updated for two years.

once a part recorded on piano it is impossible to correct note lenghts, make slurs or add notes, the program tells you which notes are too many.? i believe i am a professional, not a child, even a child can count 4 quarter notes, this program cannnot and is annoying in doing so...... a very dissapointing amateuristic program., do not buy it!

This app is very usefull, but there are still a good number of bugs, and not handy things.
Either I didn’t find them or they are missing.
This app has really great potential, and I am happy to help you dig the problems out of the way.
