After the latest update, I can no longer find seat reservations for future international train travel in the app. Instead I have to book it on the website… really annoying and should be fixed asap. App gives an error when searching for seat reservations in an international travel and can’t find the travel options. Also, there is no easily findable feedback form on the website for the app. So I have to give the feedback here. Also a bit odd.

Not so clear how the discount card is applied, selecting a ticket is a challenge with tons of options vs best option

Currently using apple pay crashes the app. Edit: After that I got contacted to update even though I was on latest version…

Overall, the app is well designed and easy enough to use. The one exception is comfort check-in: the user is expected to manually enter their reservation ID, which requires either canceling the action, or looking up the number in an email. The app already has this information, since I am clicking through from the reservation that corresponds to that exact ticket, which is all the app needs. This needs to be redesigned with the actual user in mind.

Please make the whole app available in (at least) English. Currently it’s half English and half German (such as the ticket/trip information).

How do you change the language of the app? Or is this app only in German? I can’t change this in the app via the iPhone settings.

worst train service i have experienced, and my friends have experienced.
it's 24-11, i can't cancel my d-ticket for december. what kind of ridiculous and oh so convenient for you logic is that? it's a budget ticket! why am i made to pay extra when there are 6 more days until december! ill fly next time. what's the point of individuals taking action against climate change when organizations do everything they can to make you reconsider.

No Apple Wallet support for tickets in a public transport app. Other companies have had it for years.

How can I undo an alternative route to the original one? The alternative has an impossible connection!

Its great that you can select a specific seat for reservating a seat, or see where various facilities are found in the train.
However, I wasn’t able to buy tickets or reservate a seat through the app because of the payment system. Not everyone got a German bank account, nor Paypal, a Creditcard or Apple Pay. Even with the latter Dutch debit cards cannot be used. Please make it possible to pay with iDeal / Maestro which the majority of the Dutch people use to buy products.

De App werkt op zich goed, ook bij verbindingen met lokaal vervoer. Er zijn wel wat irritante dingetjes.
Als je een treinverbinding zoekt dan krijg je -altijd- eerst 1 of meer pagina’s met verbindingen in het verleden.
Ook vergeet de App je inlog gegevens te snel. Dan moet je eerst weer alles invullen voordat je je ticket kunt afrekenen en dat is zeer irritant.

Omdat ik milieubewust wil reizen heb ik een trein van Utrecht naar Berlijn geboekt. Na het boeken krijg ik na een paar dagen een bericht dat deze verbinding niet meer mogelijk is. Ik ben nu al een week bezig om via de site, de app, live chat en de waardeloze telefonische klantenservice mijn geld terug te krijgen. Allemaal zonder succes. De Deutsche Bahn is gewoon een gigantische puinhoop.

The Usability of this app should be the blueprint for a lot of other national railway apps out there.
I like the live travel information a lot, booking tickets is pretty smooth (though it would be nice to enter the date of birth once instead of having to enter the age every single time)
It’s also nice one can submit claims directly through the app, a feature I’d prefer to use less in the future :)

I have never had a good experience with the service of Deutsche Bahn, delays, cancellations, lack of use of technology for purchases and client services. Even the way they advertise on the website for the Deutschland Ticket feels like a scam (hiding the weird subscription rules in the main page). Very bad client service specially for international travelers. Definitely will never travel to Germany with DB trains ever again.

Asks me 10 thousand times to click on sitting horses , water travel, bikes, etc ..,even if I do it correctly..,I can’t login

Unable to buy any tickets.
Apple Pay and PayPal isn’t working only SEPA payments.
Definitely not a user friendly app.
