YouTube Music

I’m missing a important basic feature the competition already has: general volume control. The ability to set the general music volume lower so that it works better with guided running apps. Now the music’s too loud compared to the volume of running apps.

Heel vervelend dat wanneer je een nummer afspeelt er een fullscreen plaatje van de artiest op je beeld komt zodat je je playlist niet meer ziet.
Irritant en gevaarlijk met de android autoradio en op de iPhone.

I’ve been using this app for quite some time, mainly because of its excellent algorithm. However they have been experimenting with different algorithm, which have not been good, where just like spotify they same few songs are autoplayed each time, I never hear new music, and where most of the time the songs are in a completely different genre then the song originally played. Each update they seem to drift further away from their original algorithm. With the algorithm from a few years back the app wouldve gained 5 stars

Always need my phone to listen tot the music. When I do a run outside, sometime I don’t want to take my phone with me, because I have an Apple Watch with cellular. Unfortunately YouTube music don’t support Apple Watch without the iPhone!

Waarom is de optie om gepersonaliseerde radio met 10 artisten naar keuze, na de update verdwenen?

Ik kan er helemaal niets mee. Ik zou een playlist kunnen maken, maar ik kan de volgorde niet veranderen. YTM heeft voor mij een playlist gemaakt die ik leuk zou moeten vinden. Nou helemaal niets! Bovendien als ik een playlist zou maken dan zou die openbaar zijn. Wat moeten anderen met mijn muziek keuze?
Ik blijf maar gewoon CD’s, DVD of losse nummers kopen (tegenwoordig digitaal) en ik rip gewoon de nummers die IK wil, in de volgorde die IK wil en maak een usb stick voor in de auto. Ik wil naar muziek luisteren die IK leuk vind en niet naar wat een of ander algoritme denkt dat ik leuk zou moeten vinden.
Ik het geprobeerd, het is waardeloos. Ik heb het weer van mijn telefoon gegooid.

You can add music to playlist but it will not show. When you close off the app. You get the entire album. When I remove the songs I get an error. Fix this!

Podcast support is barely functional (add podcast button is just plain broken).
Music search is bad.
Mixes YouTube videos subscriptions with artists/songs. Advised songs are generally completely irrelevant or 10 years old.
Barely any support for media sync. between devices No apps,like Spotify has, on devices like watches, game consoles etc.
It’s the YouTube app underpaid, barely supported ugly little brother.
I am a paying YouTube Premium user.

Werk niet goed met Apple car. Android doet goed maar na update krijg je veel fouten start niet stopt opeens hoewel je internet heb. Geen idee ? Hoe en wat voor de rest goed? Is denk ik soort poging om over te stappen naar Android van Google

Ik wil GEEN voorstellen kwa muziek . Als ik een artiest opzoek wil ik dat luisteren . Niet wat YouTube denkt wat ik leuk vind

Sinds iOS 26.5 music stops after one song, repeat option not saved when app is closed and also CarPlay it refuses to go to next song with buttons. Very annoying and unusable.

The new update is so bad. Why is it trying to be like spotify? Revert the change where you can see similar songs to the song you are currently playing and to show the lyrics.

I want to black all of these bs ai “artists” from getting into my recommendations. But this feature is not available like with Spotify.

Playback stops when I lookup a recipe on YouTube with another device. Or play a video as visualization. Hate it.

Its a solid app for streaming thats why i gave it 2 not 1 because i get a ad every minute not worth it.

Just super. Enjoy it very much. Every music that you wish or think about. Money more than worth

Cross device listening sync would be much appreciated.
And a list of several last played playlists/radiOS would be handy to have one-click accessible (otherwise I remember there was a nice vibe but I don't know how to quickly return to it).
