Yousician: Learn & Play Music

I downloaded this app after years of not using it, wanting to learn specific songs that was showed in an advertisement. But ONLY accessible if you pay. So it’s not really free, you only learn how to use the app in the free trial. So I recommend you YouTube, where it’s actually free and limitless.

Goede app, maar:
Verlengen zonder te melden wanneer en voor welk bedrag. Kon in de app niet zien welke datum of welk bedrag. Kon in de app ook niet mijn abonnement opzeggen. Dit stond vroeger gewoon allemaal in de Apple account.
Contact met support, krijg je een automatisch bericht terug dat je 50% korting kan krijgen of je account opzeggen en al je geld terug.
Lijkt alsof ze weten dat wat ze doen echt op het randje is

I was tuning and i thought it sounded good because the first times i did it just worked and it tuned normally but after i “tuned” it it sounded HORRIBLE like it could nit have been worse and string almost snapped. But the lesseons were pretty great bit the fact that i have to pay 180 EUROS PER YEAR IS CRAZYYY.

I had downloaded this app to play guitar, not to pay a lot of money! And when I e-mail to ask for help the instruction is: “buy the REALLY expensive Premium, and otherwise we can’t help you!” If you want people to do that you should just ask for the money in the App Store

Ik ben een kind en ik wil ook gitaar leren maar je maar 2 liedjes ofzo leren en dan moet je één heleboel gaan betalen dus nee dit is NIET GRATIS

Absolut waste of time you first have to relearn everything such as chords and basics before you get access to the acc songs and the “basics” are not just 1/2 or 3 there are lit 10 lessons which takes more then 3hours just give me f”cking acxes to the damn songs

I have payed my monthly payment but money is gone but cant use it, for the rest amazing app

Supper app very user-friendly, good and clear representations of what you need to do.
Of course there is always something left to be wished for. For example, it would be a great help to me if there was a page under the Learn heading where all the instruction videos are listed, so that you can find them more easily and quickly when you have some time, but unfortunately do not have the instrument at hand to practice.
I also wondered if it is possible to offer an extra option in Notation options, A combination of the options TAB & NOTES + STANDARD. This would help me to learn the musical notes while play along with Yousician.

De eerste paar niveaus waren perfecte ondersteuning voor het niveau wat je had, en voor wat je kon. Daar super veel geleerd. Maar na niveau 5/6 wordt het echt veel te lastig en dat is gewoon demotiverend.

I had a guitar right now, and I need to PAY to learn the rest; screw that. Make it free so i could have more fun today. If you don’t do it then i’m going to be completely nuts.

Ik gebruik dit programma nu twee jaar en vind het nog steeds leuk.
Het helpt je echt om vooruitgang te boeken en er is veel keuze in originele nummers.
Er komen ook regelmatig nieuwe nummers bij.

The app is great and really keep you engaged! Great for learning guitar basics.
However. Unless you go all in on the €179 a year you will be nagged constantly to get the PREMIUM + EVEN WHEN PAYING €20 A MONTH. All while being given a hobbled version of the payed app.
They will tell you it is cheaper monthly if you pay by the year of course. But the premium push is obnoxious and a turn off for an otherwise good app.

First I could do almost everything without having to pay? But now I had to get an new acc i have to pay for everything and no I don’t want a free trail! Fix your app our something bc it’s hella expensive if you wanna create a good app make more free. I’m really not happy about this it was good first but now I can’t do anything

First of all very annoying are the stutters, with which you get a lot error scores, also a pity that the app cannot work with Homepods (it works only with airpods) The app SimplyGuitar does that better

Great way to start learning. Ive began learning wnd already learned alot with the free trial. But once the free beginning is over you have to pay a years worth of subscriptions which is around 180 euros. Being able to buy it per month isnt possible, and im simply not going to spend 180 euros on some songs. I highly recommend you make it a choice to pay the subscription monthly for the people that cant afford 180 euros in 1 sitting. You can win back a lot of people with that.

I’d tried starting to learn guitar more than a year ago but because using just youtube tutorials didn’t give me much of a foothold i gave up. Then I discovered this app a month ago and MAN have i taken off! It gives me context and study materials through songs and clearly divided lessons. It’s really fun and it gives you small goals to work towards!
The only things i would criticize is that the app tends to lag sometimes when you’re playing a song, making you miss a cue :(
The other is the “follow and be followed by others” function. I really REALLY don’t need that social media side to it. I don’t want or need an audience to my stumbling journey learning this stuff.
Other than that i’m loving it and i’m planning on subscribing for a year after my 3 month subscription has ended!
