MeerI have been Robbed many times. Drivers not canceling or Uber Delivery just leaving without closing the app. The cancel and i have to pay fun le or more. Customer service never do something about. It happend 4 times already in Santo Domingo

MeerI’m using it in the Netherlands. So many times, drivers accept the call and cancel after few minutes. This makes Uber extremely unreliable because when they cancel after waiting 10 minutes, I already wasted time and not sure if the second driver will do the same thing. Drivers should not be able to cancel the call once they accept it.

MeerToday I had a very disappointing experience with Uber. I booked my usual ride, which normally costs around ₹58, but the fare suddenly showed ₹458. I ended up paying this amount, expecting that customer support would help clarify the issue. Unfortunately, since morning there has been no response from Uber’s customer support, and even the app keeps showing “Something went wrong,” making it impossible to raise a ticket.
As daily users, we trust the platform for reliable service and transparent pricing. But situations like this make the experience frustrating and raise concerns about how fares can increase so drastically without explanation. With no support or resolution offered, this feels extremely unprofessional.

MeerTwo days ago booked a ride and had to cancel because trip was on cash payment while I never asked. After taking regular cab I changed the default setting. Booked a ride today and again cash payment, no opportunity to pay by card so while driver already arrived had to cancel. Also change method of payment wasn’t working. Very bad service of Uber!, apologies to the driver

MeerUber is not a “tech company” – it is a criminal enterprise that illegally pretends its drivers are “independent contractors” while controlling every aspect of the job like a brutal employer. Dutch courts have ruled AGAIN AND AGAIN (2021, 2023, 2024 and even after the 2025 Supreme Court case) that Uber drivers in the Netherlands are actually employees under the Taxi CAO, yet Uber simply ignores the law, refuses to pay proper wages, holiday pay, sick pay, pension or any worker protections.
The rating system is the worst part of this illegal scam. One drunk, racist or angry passenger can destroy your livelihood with a single fake 1-star rating and Uber will NEVER remove it, no matter how much proof you send. I personally sent evidence seven times for one obviously false rating – Uber’s “support” (a chatbot and copy-paste robots in the Philippines) just repeats “we cannot change individual ratings”. That is not a bug, that is the business model: keep drivers terrified and working for nothing.
When your rating drops because of their broken, one-sided system, Uber “deactivates” you without warning, without human review, without the right to defend yourself – exactly the “robo-firing” that Dutch courts already ruled is illegal multiple times. This is not just unfair, it is illegal under Dutch and EU law (GDPR Article 22, Platform Work Directive, and every single Amsterdam court case FNV won against Uber).
Uber makes billions while drivers in the Netherlands are treated worse than temporary agency workers, with no minimum wage, no insurance, no rights, and a sword hanging over their head 24/7. The app itself is designed to hide how much they steal from every ride and to make it impossible to get real help.
Boycott this criminal company. The courts have already proven they operate illegally in the Netherlands – the only thing missing is for the government to finally shut them down. Until then, every driver who still works here is being robbed every single day.

MeerGeen klantenservice in de app, rit herboeken kost extra, werkt niet goed omdat het adres niet klopt en moet je de rit opnieuw boeken en volledige prijs betalen. Wachttijd chauffeur is 5 minuten, daarna annuleren ze zelf de rit en wordt er 9,95€ in de rekening gebracht.

MeerI paid €19,80 to book a minibus which is suitable for 7 people with luggages, but the driver said one bicycle wouldn’t fit in.
And he didn’t cancel, I had to cancel and pay €13,50! Me, not getting a ride, getting stuck in rain with flat tire in the middle of nowhere, and still paid 13,50 for nothing! Shame on you!1door Tac*****29/10/2025Stop ruining the app
MeerOver the past weeks the user experience dropped to the bottom. No pets option anymore, I cannot make screenshots (no, I don’t want your option to send the info to one of my contacts, it takes way more time). Last but not least, the app was not working properly over the past two weeks, I had to delete and reinstall it. I’ve been a frequent user for years and could only share positive feedback. Not anymore…

MeerBiggest shame of the Western Countries. Apps that take advantage of customers in difficult situations. I got drunk yesterday and i had to pay 50€ for a 10 minutes trip and not only that but the Uber was very unhelpful aswell telling me to not vomint cause i will pay fines. Disgusting!

MeerNo way of contacting customer service for questions or help. I need to know if my driver will allow my cat carrier because i’m going to the vet, site says i can chat or call but the app has zero options for those. Thanks for nothing!
