ze hebben niet alle nummers en soms verdwijnt er een nummer plotseling uit je lijst omdat de artiest blijkbaar er geen zin meer in heeft of een andere update heeft geupload op Tidal. Moet je weer t nummer weer opnieuw opzoeken. Geluid is prima tot goed.

Amazing music platform. A lot of high resolution songs, really bog library (and good pay for the artists, compared to other streaming platforms)

The song recommendations based on a current playlist is poor. I often experience buffering even on downloaded playlists. And there is no option to reduce the interval between songs.

Miss only 1 thing; adding a song to multiple playlists in one action like on Spotify

I used to be more enthusiastic about Tidal. The sound quality remains the best. Yet there are serious issues with the way this music platform performs. I don’t like the fact that the useful icons in the bottom have all been deleted and hidden in different parts of the screen. I especially dislike the combined share / multifunction button in the bottom right. I often suggested improvements that would adding or removing songs to several playlists in one go, would make the overall experience so much more enjoyable, but after several years there is still no improvement. On the contrary. Another increasing problem is unattended uploads of random music to artists that I follow and very clearly did not play this (probably AI generated) music. There is a whole line up of wrong credited artists in my New Arrivals playlist by Tidal. 7 out of 25 tracks!
Another anoying interface bug is that the cover of a track that is being played, after a few seconds gets replaced by the cover image of the next song. Please fix this! Why did the app get rid of the amount of remaining tracks in the bottom. So mich of these tiny details are lost now. Why this step backward?

Really bad navigation, no possibility to remove tracks from playlist. It should be possible to go to homepage from every screen.

Since Spotify is ripping of artists and also users I wanted to switch to a different platform. I did an audio engineer education and at the time we computer streaming quality. Everything is better then Spotify. Apple Music is good. Tidal is the best for the money.
What I wanted is the old iPod experience, and to be honest only Apple Music and also Tidal come close!
Tidal is even better as you can easily minimize and expand the album with only one click on my Mac mini m4. Love this!
Search function is not the best but I can find the music I want. Once you have it in your library it is there to keep.
Tidal simplifies the music experience, where Spotify is a big mess. I can now open the Tidal, click albums and start listening without distractions.
I miss the switching between device from desktop to phone that Spotify offers. You can only use they with WiFi on Tidal. Just a small minor thing.
If that was the same as Spotify and the search option it would be the best app for sure and worth 10 stars. So 4 stars for now.
But hey, nothing is perfect so cant complain what Tidal offers: best audio quality instead of 320kbps (spot) and best minimal user interface.
I use Spotify free for podcasts and that is great. Better to have it separate to be honest!

I hardly recommend people to use Tidal, everything is a positive. The only week point but could improve in the future, is the app and the synchronization that you could have with laptop and phone

Tidal needs to fix the issue of not showing up the song/volume control on the iPhone lock screen when streaming musing via Tidal Connect!

Tidal Connect is available on many more devices but still not on Windows or MacOS. Shame! Spotify offers this future already for a very long time.

When casting on google chrome cast 4K, it must buffer every 10 seconds for 15 seconds which is very annoying. This problem is only when casting Tidal

I subscribed to TIDAL for its high-quality streaming, but the iOS app is, frankly, poor in both quality and performance.
The most serious issue—present for years—is the buggy offline download feature. It often forces you into a cycle of reinstalling the app and repeatedly switching between online and offline modes just to get downloads working. Despite multiple support requests and many app updates, this has never been fixed. Downloads may appear successful, but you can’t trust them: once you’re offline (for example on a flight), the app may simply fail with the generic and infuriating message: “Something went wrong. Try later.”
Search is also weak. There are no useful filters, and results are poorly ranked—for example, searching “Beethoven” can return a rap song with “Beethoven” in the title as the top result.
Finally, the catalogue feels poorly curated, with duplicate or inconsistent artist entries. And there is still no support for devices like Garmin watches, despite this being standard with competitors for years and repeatedly requested by users

First of all, great app! Good quality. But I miss one thing.. the possibility to stream from phone to the tv.

I migrated from spotify looking for better streaming quality and more ethical business practices which I am happy with but the app is not great to say the least the download feature does not work properly the app takes like 15 gbs but the music is not actually available without internet

Stopt na een paar nummers of een half uur of een halve CD. Gebruik een Yamaha R-N2000a die geen enkel probleem heeft met hoge resolutie en via iPhone 15 maar werkt niet goed samen met TIDAL connect. iPhone verliest eerst de verbinding met de versterker via connect en dan bij het volgende nummer is de versterker de draad kwijt. Alles wat TIDAL aangeeft, van alles resetten tot installeren, niets lost het probleem op. Glasvezel supersnel netwerk. Het ligt overal aan maar niet aan TIDAL. Kreeg er genoeg van en ben overgestapt naar Qubuz. Dat draait zonder enig probleem 24 bit/196. Zonder haperen, zeer snel zoeken en het geluid is duidelijk beter. Ook alles in HR. Dus TIDAL, doe is wat aan de haperende Connect!

Best music system around. We enjoy it everyday, at home, at work in the car. Keep up the good work. Greetz from Amsterdam, Holland

I’m moving over from Spotify and I’d really like to stick with TIDAL, but it’s been difficult because I can’t sort my playlists by “recently listened to.”
This was an important feature for me on Spotify since it made it easy to find the playlists I listen to most, rather than sorting only by creation date or when they were last edited. If this could be considered for a future update, it would make switching much easier, until then, I don’t think I can fully make the move.
