It is a nice app however if you are debating between this and free alternatives, the free one might be better.
First, the widget only refreshes after the app is opened (so in the morning it does not display your to do’s immediately).
Second, things added to your Things calendar are not added to your apple calendar (they should add a feature to enable this in some way).
Third, if you buy it on the phone, you still have to buy it again for you laptop (55 euros!)
Definitely needs improvement and 55 euros is ridiculous for such a simple app.

I definitely got an upgrade on my life after started using this app. The only thing I wish for is to be able to sort daily tasks depending on a priority level. That would give me an indication of what’s more important to do than the other tasks

The eye candy graphics, simple but flexible controls, good widgets, subscription free, smooth synchronization — this is an app that keeps me using iPhone.
Seriously, the fact that it exists only in apple realm makes it impossible for me to switch away. Unparalleled quality.

A TODO app should have as little friction as possible getting a TODO on your list. Things achieves that through shortcuts and action buttons that make adding a TODO one click or keypress away. On top of that, it has great organizing capabilities and looks beautiful. Seamless sync between macOS also. Highly recommended, great software

After the iOS update, the placement of the check mark after setting a time is not in a good place for me. Feels not intuitive anymore this way.

A while ago I wrote here that Apple’s own Reminders app could now do everything Things does. I take that back. After receiving a gracious reply from the developers, I gave Things another try (which was easy enough because Things can import most items from Reminders), and it *does* offer more. One gripe is that it lacks dependencies (tasks remaining hidden in the Today, Upcoming and Someday views until some specified other task had been completed), but Reminders doesn’t have that, either. Maybe in a future version? That would rock. Regardless, this is a five star app as it is.

Eindelijk een app die werkt, allround is en aan alle verwachtingen voldoet! Erg blij mee, gebruik hem op m’n telefoon en MacBook zowel werk als privé!

The app itself is great and I would love to use it. However, not being able to add a photo to a project is the main reason I don't use the app. With that feature, the app would tick off all the boxes.

This is by far the most usable, well thought out app ever. Your phone is allways with you so having this makes your life easier and organised. You spend some money but it is the best spend money of your life!

Deze app weet sinds een tijdje letterlijk mijn leven te managen. Sinds ik de app gebruik krijg ik al mijn taken veel makkelijker voltooid. Ik gebruik alledrie de apps en deze werken feilloos samen.
De app krijgt 5 sterren als er ook intergratie voor de agenda komt.

Ik gebruik Things al jaren, dus de aanschafprijs heb ik er al lang uit en is het meer dan waard. Alles wat in mijn hoofd zit, op korte en lange termijn, belangrijk en onbelangrijk, van kluslijstjes tot dromen, alles zet ik in Things. Het geeft mij rust, ik kan het altijd opzoeken en terugvinden. Dikke aanrader!

The wonderful thing about this app is that it is a great task manager, but that you can also organize your notes within a project, tag them, filter them, reshuffle them, etc. Indeed, it is very easy to operate and beautifully designed.

In 2024 this app still hasn’t got the Dutch language, why is it that difficult?

It changed how I organize daily life with a clear overview of my tasks, projects, and my personal life, definitely recommend.

But for some time now my widget has been out of sync with the app itself… too bad…

It seems simple but this app is overly complicated as you cannot edit a to do completely with repetitions and options.
The interface isn’t intuitive as it doesn’t follow your standard iPhone interface and does annoying moving things.

Nice todo app. Very nice looks but limited features compared to the Apple Reminders which is free. No Dutch localisation which is a big let down for me!
