I have been using the non-safari equivalents of this extension for years and it has never disappointed me. Works flawlessly and I am happy to spend a few euros to have the convenience of getting it through the App Store. You set it up the way you want it one time and never have to think about it again.
Hopefully extensions like this can exist well into the future. This in combination with adblockers (or paying for YouTube Premium) are the only way to make the website usable.

Unusual negative reviews. The app functions smoothly, allowing me to bypass sponsors, similar to other browsers. Individuals providing negative feedback should consider enabling the extension in the settings panel instead of complaining.

It doesn't even register in Safari as a plugin, it can't be found on my Mac anywhere? This is just some load of crap!

I don't know where these negative reviews are coming from. But as a developer that uses youtube a lost for information this saved me tons of wasted minutes.

App doesn't even work with Safari. Saw a year old comment on another review, that there was some workaround you should get on Github, but if you make a faulty app and ask money for it, I should'nt have to go to Github to fix it.

You have to use safari instead of YouTube app, which sucks. But dealing with ads sucks more, so fine, I switched to safari. Even then it doesn't work all the time because the server is down or something. Still, when it works it's so good! Get it!
