SELPHY Photo Layout

Wat ik ook probeer, via de Selphy Photo Layout is geen verbinding met de printer meer mogelijk. Opnieuw registreren, opnieuw installeren, niets werkt. Soms lijkt het wel alsof printers en bijbehorende apps enkel zijn gemaakt om te frustreren.

Sinds ik dit ding heb kan ik hele leuke foto’s printen met mijn vriendinnen ☺️

Heel gemakkelijk in gebruik en je kunt er zelfs kleine collages mee maken. Super leuk vooral bij artjournals maken. Zo kun je het heel persoonlijk maken.

Why oh why CANON? Why did you remove the option to decorate the overcoating layer? So many options are missing now.
The QX10 printers also frequently gets stuck so I have to throw away the whole cartridge. What a piece of gargbage.

When i just got it, it was way better then currently. I want a way to say ‘x number of photo’s per page given a layout of my choosing. Being limited to one page at a time for photo selection is just terrible! And as a result i use it less and less :(

They keep repairing and then breaking this app. This time, it can’t show me my photos, so I can’t select any. The app also does not show up in the list of apps that are presented in the photo roll, so I cannot open a photo in the Selphy app that way either.
I can’t understand why they didn’t just make a simple app, make it work reliably, and then never degrade it again. Get the basics right and before spending time on fancy features. Opening files is crucial, and this app keeps breaking this issue.
Btw, I am thinking of buying a big photo printer, and because of this experience, it is not going to be a Canon.

Terrible interface. Can only pinch scale, which also triggers rotation. Fit option leaves borders unprinted. When scaling, a popup appeared to rate the app, ruining the hard to achieve alignment.

Alas, the app does not automatically rotate landscape orientation images to it’s paper anymore.
Rotating them manually also means the need to be resized. This is a fiddly process, because there are no buttons to center the image and it does not snap to right angles or centering.
After a previous update froze the app on my iPad 9, the last update got it working again.

Het apparaat werkt echt goed. Mooie kwaliteit . Maar de bijhorende app is echt verschrikkelijk .
Je kunt niet inzoomen bij een foto. Je kunt een foto niet draaien. Alleen alle foto’s of geen.
Of te wel je kan er mee printen maar moet wel op de manier van de app. Ik zou meer zelf willen bepalen . Zijn tenslotte mijn eigen afdrukken

Before I could select a collage of 2 pictures per page and select 20 photos and they would all be printed 2 per page and then I could hit print and it would print them all at once. Now, I have to select two photos and print, because if i select more, it will put 8 photos per page, making them small. So i have to select print, select print everytime in between. Very annoying, please fix this!

Sinds de recente updates zijn mijn favoriete opties niet meer aanwezig. Zelf kiezen hoeveel foto’s per pagina is niet meer mogelijk waardoor je onnodig vaak alles door moet. Ook mis ik dat je het papier kan draaien ipv de foto’s. Zeker bij de shuffle optie mis ik een max aantal per pagina. Hopelijk komen die functies weer terug

The current apple version does not allow to connect to the device anymore. Probably because the Apple software has a higher protection built in.

Wat waardeloos was erg blij met de printer maar nu kan ik dus niet meer 4 foto’s op een kaart kiezen. Terwijl ik juist dat formaat nodig heb..

I just downloaded the app but the default language is spanish. Where can I change this to english?!

Heel goeie apparaat met prachtige foto kwaliteit! Ben nog steeds blij mee met dat apparaat!

Dit ding aan de praat te krijgen, geef ik 3 sterren. Wat een gek**. Je hebt ook iOS15 nodig minimaal maar goed 1 foto geprint en kwaliteit is wel echt bizar uit zo’n apparaat

Eindelijk geüpdatet! De app doet het in ieder geval weer. De kleuren zijn sinds de laatste twee updates helaas wel anders. Minder warm en grauwer.

…Canon still struggles to ship useable software with their devices. It’s a shame, as my Selphy cp1500 creates great useable prints for a fair price per print. But the wifi printing software is simply awful. Limited and obvious functions, like printing multiple copies, are not available. Spelling mistakes also show that canon does not have decent quality control for their app.
