Scaniverse - 3D Scanner

So far everything i need is free and the scan is easy and fun to do. I love how they show what has not been scanned. It works greatt.

The developers of this application really know the value of a good 3d scan and an easy user interface. I’ve been able to grab great quality textures and even scans of my dog which is now a lasting memory in a virtual space. I’m taking this to a museum to scan beautiful art and relics. Would add a tip jar in the app. Well deserved

Incredibly easy to use, with amazing results. You’ll get it to create surprisingly detailed and accurate 3D scans in no time. Sharing models with other people thru Messages as AR files is the icing on the cake.
I think it is truly mind blowing that consumer tech has come this far…

I recommend this app to all owners of LIDAR iPhones. I love this app and the updates!
One new requested feature would be to be able use the front LiDAR on the iPhone 13. I know other apps have that feature, but I prefer Scaniverse.

After writing a negative review due to not having support for iPhone 13 Pro (due to a bug) while it says it did, I’m obliged to write a good one after finally being able to use the app. The app works great, it is a bit gimmicky, but still you can create awesome 3D images with it.

Currently the app doesn’t work on the iPhone 13 pro max, it says you need LiDAR, which this phone has of course yet the app doesn’t detect it.

This is a very new LIDAR scanner, v. 1.0
so far I’m very impressed by the precision, the ability to fill holes and the crisp and accurate rendering.
Right now it works best for medium sized objects. Small objects don’t scan well.
I hope soon more export- possibilities will follow, notably IGES.
