Opmerking: Het afspelen van media uit je Plex-bibliotheek op mobiele apparaten is beperkt (één minuut voor muziek en video, watermerk op foto's) tot de app is ontgrendeld. Koop een Plex Pass OF doe een kleine, eenmalige aankoop in de app voor alle functies van de app. Als je persoonlijke media wilt streamen, heb je versie 1.18.3 of nieuwer van de mediaserver van Plex nodig om op andere apparaten te streamen. Met DRM beschermde content, ISO-schijfafbeeldingen en video_ts-mappen worden niet ondersteund. Een deel van de app wordt ondersteund door op interesses gebaseerde advertenties. In de app kun je een Plex Pass kopen (niet verplicht). De Plex Pass is beschikbaar voor US$ 4,99 (of het equivalent) per maand via je iTunes-account, US$ 39,99 (of het equivalent) per jaar of eenmalig US$ 149,99 (of het equivalent) voor een levenslang abonnement. Abonnementen worden automatisch verlengd, tenzij je automatisch verlengen ten minste 24 uur voor het einde van de huidige termijn hebt uitgeschakeld in je iTunes-account. De verlengingskosten worden 24 uur voor het einde van de huidige termijn in rekening gebracht op je account. Je kunt na aankoop abonnementen beheren en automatisch verlengen uitschakelen via de instellingen van je iTunes-account.

New version terrible
MeerUpdate after two months: app still terrible, most problems haven't been fixed.
The previous app was great. But the new version is full of problems. A selection:
- It often becomes unresponsive and I need to restart.
- The previews when skipping through a video are incorrect. When you hold still at a specific point it shows a preview of where the player currently is instead of where you hold your finger. This makes it extremely difficult to find a specific spot.
- Some video files that worked previously can't be played anymore unless I transcode them to lower quality.
- Some video files can only be played from the beginning. So you can't play from where you left off.
- The new interface is very unintuitive. After two months of use I still find it difficult to find things.
- There are no previews anymore when skipping in Chromecast mode. This makes it virtually impossible to go to a specific point, such as after opening credits.
- Can't play music anymore (need another app). All my downloads are gone but they still take up space on my iPad.
- You can't select different audio or subtitles in Chromecast mode.
- In Chromecast mode, subtitles are sometimes cut off by the edge of the screen2door Len*******02/07/2025Another rough Start for Plex
MeerThe latest version keeps crashing on my iPad M1 Pro, while it works fine on all other iPads in my household. It’s not the first time Plex has had teething issues, they often need several releases to get things right after a major overhaul.
