Leuke app dus ik besloot hem te kopen. Na betaling van €34,- bleek dat je hem een maand mag gebruiken en dan moet je een abonnement nemen van minimaal €16 per maand. Dat stond er bij de aanschaf niet bij!

Het blijk dat je een abonnement te moeten aangaan van €300,-/jaar. Dat alles stond niet in de info bij aankoop. Ik voel me dus hogelijk belazerd. Ook door Apple wil het bedrag eerder betaalde bedrag van €16,99 niet restitueren.

I use now Ninox over 2 years and I am still exited. Very stable system (not any crash experienced), fast support via mail, when things are not working (like you think they would). Improvement requests are dealed with in reasonable manner and time frame.
All in all a great app cross my apple platforms. But the most loved feature is it works smoothly on my iPad, so I have my database where ever I go. Through cloud service I make easily back ups to my Synonolgy.

Great database app. I like it very much. There is no password protection however. To protect a database with a password should be available for all versions. Now this functionality is only implemented in the (business) lan-version.

Wish I had found this brilliant software earlier. I had been on the search for CRM and planning software for a long time, but none did suit our type of business. Ninox is primarily a relational database, but what is very useful is that records with a date or appointment field can be shown on a week or month view calendar. This gives great possibilities for people in the service business, we organise sightseeing tours. Our bookings, tour planning, staff assignments, customer payments, contact management, are already in. Gone are the many different papers and spreadsheets. With the recent update it will now also be possible to custom design print outputs, and next step will be to have our quotations, invoices, and booking confirmations in it as well. You do need some database design skills to let the software do what you want it to do, but it has great possibilities when you understand the concept. It supports several types of relations, different data types, calculation fields, and records can be linked to a calendar. Business reports can easily be generated with statistical functions on the table data, the different table views can be saved.
I bought both apps for Mac and iPad, those need to be purchased separately. Worth every penny. A limited free version for iPad is available to try. Mac and iPad databases sync via iCloud.
Most features are documented properly, some further documentation will be useful. Also the calendar views can be improved a bit. Developer is very active in support, all questions have been answered fast.

Ninox is een goede database-applicatie die flexibel genoeg is om kleine databases net zo productief te laten zijn als grotere gecompliceerde databases voor zakelijke toepassingen.
Tot nog toe geen stabiliteitsproblemen tegengekomen, want betrouwbaarheid is prioriteit nummer één voor een database.
Wel redelijk aan de prijs is dem in-app aankoop; uiteindelijk krijg je er relatief weinig voor, hoewel het wel essentiële onderdelen zijn zoals beperkte dropboxintegratie,met name export van databases voor backup-doeleinden en import van CSV.
Verder zou het de moeite waard zijn als niet alleen foto's, maar ook documenten of bestanden als bijlage zouden kunnen worden toegevoegd aan de database. Wordt ergens gemeld maar is volgens mij niet mogelijk.
edit: onjuiste opmerking over import en export gecorrigeerd. Aanvulling: documentatie kan wat beter.
Edit2: iCloud sync werkt nog steeds niet in de premium versie

For me at least, and that's on an iPad mini running (and I'm staying with) iOS 7.1.2.
Ninox is actually a pretty damn good little database app. I needed something to keep track of, and easily compare, numerous specifications of a number campers (or mobile homes, whatever), as I was doing research on which one I wanted to buy. (Excel was way too complicated.) This little guy simply could and did.
Two minor issues:
1 In Table-view, you cant reorder records (=rows), as each one has its unique number and they're displayed accordingly. For easy comparison though, you'd want the Table-view to be essentially that – a view which can be modified as preferred and hence move records up and down the view. You'd also like to be able to color-code each row, whoch can't be done either.
2 You can easily delete records bij selecting whichever combination you want and choosing delete record(s). Bizarly enough, you +cannot+ duplicate records.
One major quirk:
You need to zealously SAVE the Table +layout+ each time you change even the smallest table-setting, since it does not auto-save – which is completely ridiculous. Note: the actual data in the Table DOES get autosaved, so you're unlikely to loose anything you've typed in. It's only the VIEW on the data that you need to manually save all the time. Like I said, this is ridiculous. Still, once the layout is finally OK and you don't continually change it anymore, this becomes a non-issue, as you only need to save when the +view+ is changed, not when +data+ is changed.
