Top notch database software
MeerI use now Ninox over 2 years and I am still exited. Very stable system (not any crash experienced), fast support via mail, when things are not working (like you think they would). Improvement requests are dealed with in reasonable manner and time frame.
All in all a great app cross my apple platforms. But the most loved feature is it works smoothly on my iPad, so I have my database where ever I go. Through cloud service I make easily back ups to my Synonolgy.

MeerGreat database app. I like it very much. There is no password protection however. To protect a database with a password should be available for all versions. Now this functionality is only implemented in the (business) lan-version.

MeerWish I had found this brilliant software earlier. I had been on the search for CRM and planning software for a long time, but none did suit our type of business. Ninox is primarily a relational database, but what is very useful is that records with a date or appointment field can be shown on a week or month view calendar. This gives great possibilities for people in the service business, we organise sightseeing tours. Our bookings, tour planning, staff assignments, customer payments, contact management, are already in. Gone are the many different papers and spreadsheets. With the recent update it will now also be possible to custom design print outputs, and next step will be to have our quotations, invoices, and booking confirmations in it as well. You do need some database design skills to let the software do what you want it to do, but it has great possibilities when you understand the concept. It supports several types of relations, different data types, calculation fields, and records can be linked to a calendar. Business reports can easily be generated with statistical functions on the table data, the different table views can be saved.
I bought both apps for Mac and iPad, those need to be purchased separately. Worth every penny. A limited free version for iPad is available to try. Mac and iPad databases sync via iCloud.
Most features are documented properly, some further documentation will be useful. Also the calendar views can be improved a bit. Developer is very active in support, all questions have been answered fast.5door Mic*******05/03/2015
