The NHL App dives into the 2025-26 season with a host of exciting new features, including:
– Stats, reimagined. We’ve got League Leaders, no doubt… and a whole lot more. Discover a Stats surface that incorporates EDGE Advanced Stats, Data Visualizations and even some fun facts and new ways of looking at the game. More modules rolling out as the season unfolds.
– Live Activities made its rookie (ok, beta) debut during the playoffs last season; it’s back and now fully-featured. Choose one game, or opt-in for any (or all!) teams so you can set it and forget it!
– How to Watch: There’s more ways than ever to watch a game, and we got you covered with our expanded feature – all the info to know where to stream, tune in or follow along.
– Navigation: We’ve rearranged the furniture a bit to let you jump directly to a Team or Player from our new Search bar, added tab bar-level access to Stats, and the evolution of the latest tab into your Home for all things hockey is underway.
A refreshed and timely onboarding flow reviews your choices, setting you up to experience all the NHL App has to offer, just the way you like it: breaking news notifications, up-to-the-minute scores and live Gamecenter, new EDGE stats, Game Stories & video highlights, your favorite team’s icon and Goal Horn game alerts & much more.
