NDI Camera: Easy Streaming

• Like it but needs tweeling.

  I am a fan of NDI. It already worked fine on my previous iPhone and now on my iPhone 12 Pro it works great too. But...
  Two things. First it really really needs a camera stabilizer. Many other camera apps have that (like FilmicPro). I think the iPhone 12 is powerful enough to stabilize and encode the video at the same time. It might be getting a bit more delay, but than you should have the option to switch of and on.
  Also i want to be able to switch camera’s. It has 3 cam’s, (0.5x, 1x, 2x) but it uses only the 1x cam (and selfie cam). Good, but being able to use the others would be even better.
  And last, but not absolutely necessary, a other way to use the zoom. Instead of first ticking on the ‘weel’ and than use a finger on the screen to zoom I and out, and with doing that making the picture vibrate a bit, maybe use the volume controle or a Bluetooth thingy?
  So it is a great NDI app for use as a extra cam in your (live) production, like making flash interviews, an extra eye for that impossible shot or just a selfie shot while doing your thing.
  Bottom line: Get it, use it. But it also needs a serious update.

  Awesome app for use with the iPhone 12 pro max. But PLEASE! Give support for the ultra wide feature. That's really what the apple people want now.

• No support for wide angle lens

  Does the job nicely, I can see my camera in vMix. Unfortunately it doesn’t support the Ultra Wide Camera on the iPhone 11.

• Great for vmix !

  Hi.
  Great app that worked right away with Vmix. No problems, except that you need a really good WiFi! I now use 5ghz and must remain close to the router, or you get stutters in the image.
  Would love to see an option to manually change the focus. And would love to have the option that when u press the screen to focus, that it doenst channge the lightning. Now you have to manually back it down again.
  Med setting is 1920x1080. Just perfect! Would be great to have a frame rate of 25 or 50! We live in europe, why the hack is it 30....

• Works

  App works pretty straight forward. Got it connected to OBS. Was hoping to controll the camera over IP too but I can live without it.
  Edit: Quality of stream can be set to low, med or high. Med is always 720p and high is the highest the phone can record, which is 2160p. This is to high and produce stutter. Would be nice if it’s possible to set it to 1080p. Devs?

• Does not work with vMix

  In vMix you get a warning "To access this NDI stream, please update the receiver software to a version prepared to the NDI 4 SDK (or better). I've ibstalled NDI 4.
