Mensa Brain Test

App works well, and nice to see the result and train. I would very much appreciate an explanation of the questions you answered wrongly, so you can improver the score. The linguistic questions are especially hard if English is not your mother tongue... Therefore it would be even better to get results split out for the different aspects (math, logic, language, etc.).

Nice test. It's totally different from the admissions test but still entertaining.
EDIT 29-7-2012: I actually found a mistake in one of the training questions. It's the one with the square with the numbers in it. The top line reads: 30 16 11 39

It's a mix of biased tests, language dependent, with time limits. So don't take it for a real IQ test; the Mensa admission test cannot and should not be used to obtain insight into ones IQ. It's a timed pressure test, for fun only.

Ik ben best wel een hoop gewend op het gebied van puzzelen, maar deze app heeft mij toch wat nederigheid bijgebracht. Alles is echter te leren, en de trainingen geven een goede uitleg bij het juiste antwoord. Helaas kom je vrij snel dezelfde vragen tegen. Meer vragen (of dezelfde vragen met andere cijfers; als een spreadsheet dat al kan moet dat geen probleem zijn), zou zeker een uitkomst zijn. Verder prima gedaan!

Language issue indeed, but that happens in many tests. Variety of questions limited, so you get to know them, although i am stll clueless on some. On average a small 4.

To start with, not being an english speaking person, I think IQ-tests that demand knowledge! of any language are not doing justice to a Mensatest, this said as being a Mensamember myself. What is even odd is my score with 6 out of 40 unanswered is still more then good enough for being a member which raises the question: can one rely on the results given by this app? Will give it 4 stars because it is well made and entertaining. It might give people an indication but nothing more. Myself, I am gonna aply by Prometheus now considering my 'new' score. Have fun!

Zeer moeilijke test, maar helaas alleen in het Engels. Absoluut een aanrader voor puzzelaars.
Helaas komen er wel steeds dezelfde vragen naar voren.
Als de app meertalig was en meer verschillende vragen had, dan had ik hem 5 sterren gegeven.
