Unreliable and difficult to sync after new updates
MeerUsed to work fine but after new updates all my fields were reconfigured without notice, flights were lost and there weren’t any automatic backups made. Sync between iPad and iPhone is difficult, sometimes not working and no indication on progress.

MeerThe recent changes to the sync system feel completely ambiguous and unnecessary. It was working well before and now syncing is taking forever, there’s no progress bar so you’re left wondering if something is still going on in the background or the sync is broken. Guess they felt the need to make changes to justify the hefty yearly subscription fee for what is basically a spreadsheet. No noteworthy features have been added to the app in the last couple of years so they’re just coasting at this point.

MeerI have been a using LogTen in the past, but was displeased with having to go pay a sub very soon after I bought a non-sub version.
Tried other apps, but have come to the solution that LogTen is the most reliable of those I have tried, has the most expansive featureset and has great support staff.
4 out of 5 stars due to its rather high pricing point, but otherwise an excellent logbook app with likewise support staff.4door R K****09/07/2021Cost!

MeerBijzonder aardige mensen bij de help desk van Coradine. Tempo van reageren op mijn vraag (zorg dat mijn iPhone, iPad en Mac Mini in sync blijven via de iCloud Sync, dat wat het programma dus beloofd te doen) neemt echter zeer vlot af, tot op heden dik 6 weken na mijn eerste melding geen enkel werkend antwoord gekregen. Ondertussen is de iPad App gecrashed. Na opnieuw installeren kan die de iCloud Back-Up niet meer vinden. Mijn nieuwe iPhone vond die Back-Up wel maar wil die niet installeren (200 GB vrije ruimte). Ik ben overgestapt naar CrewLounge PilotLog, is goedkoper en werkt de afgelopen 5 dagen probleemloos en keurig in Sync (inclusief sync met Windows machines). Het zal wel aan mijn aura liggen dat het bij mij maar niet wil werken dat LogTen Pro.

MeeriCloud sync disables itself or is lagging a couple months behind. Helpdesk not very helpful as they send you just to their Q&A on their website.

I am a long time user of LogTen. From the early stages I am/was a big fan. But things have changed. The functionality is outgrowing the app. Too many useless functions are now integrated, that we all have to pay for. Importing of schedules, work and rest time, instructional features. Great for those that all use this, but for those who only use the basic logbook functions (read: keeping track of fight times) this app is getting way to expensive. The thing is, that you become a slave of the system if you have been using this app for a significant time, because switching to another product is almost undoable. So think before you commit yourself to this logbook system.
I think the offer for long time users is not sufficient in any way (€5 euros discount... what a laugh) and the fact that you can’t choose functionality options is bad.
Only two options available Mac or iPhone/iPad. That’s it ! Really?
It would be a much more professional if you would be able to pay for the service you actually need/use.
Guys, customer service is what aviation is lacking nowadays ! The busyness is going to pieces. Differentiate yourself as a company and do what you’re suppose to do ! Provide the best product range for your customers and show some more flexibility !
I will renew my subscription for one year, not because I want, but because I have to. But rest assured that I will explore all other options on the market from now on to get rid of this overpriced app.1door Evi***03/11/2018Absurd pricing
MeerWas happy with version 6, and paid a substantial amount of money for it to. No support anymore from Coradine for this version, except urging you to buy the new version for even more..... Software is good, support for old customers is none. So with the iOS updates to 64 bit, I am forced to change to another developer.

MeerToo bad Coradine doesn’t have enough competition on the iOS and macOS platform. It’s a nice looking product and with nice features. What I don’t like and that’s the reason it gets only one star is that iCloud sync just doesn’t work. I’ve had to reset iCloud sync so many times and reinstalled apps to get it to work that I lost my faith. Just have a look at their knowledge base on their website. With so many iCloud sync problem articles you can only assume that part of the app doesn’t work! It was the main reason why I took a subscription with them. I was hoping with time things would improve with the subscription model, but that didn’t happen. Coradine is good in making promises but also good in not keeping them. Consider carefully if you want to put your flying hours here.

MeerDear coradine; pilots log hours because they have to, we’re not looking for more silly features we’ll never use and we certainly don’t want to pay a ridiculous amount per year for it.
Yes this is probably the best logbook software, however your software replaces a paper logbook that will cost me about €10/year, that would be a reasonable amount for your software.
I think the reviews speak for themselves. I’m now finally forced to change logbook software as well with the new iOS, it won’t be coradine anymore.
Your best advertising is word of mouth, you know you’re not getting any. As an trainer my advice to any new entry to my airline is to get any other logbook software than logten pro.1door Fir*******23/12/2017Way too expensive
MeerThe app itself is very nice and contains all you need to log as a pilot and/or flight/ground/sim instructor/candidate.

MeerThe app is good.. it does what it needs to do and does so quite well.
But like many, people feel cheated.
I purchased “lifetime” versions before this. Logten pro 6, on my iPad/iPhone and mac versions. Total cost was already 180 euro or so. It lastest pretty long to be fair. However, with new iOS systems (not really their fault) they just completally removed ANY support what so ever for a “LIFETIME” app, or atleast an app that was advertised as a “one time purchase”. So syncing stopped working. Icloud syncing was removed.. any good way to backup all the data was removed.. which left me with one device with the logbook.
So forced to go to the newer versions that hopefully won’t out of nowhere be disregarded by this company..
Pricing is FAR too high.
A paper logbook of 20 euro’s or so will last me atleast a year, possibly 2. So 75.99 a year is very expensive for a fancy excel sheet. Should be half the price if you ask me...
Only went for this one as my previous logbook is from this company. And by removal of all the backups/syncing it’s hard (but not impossible) to go over to another logbook.

MeerThe makers seem to strive for early retirement and try to push for max profit with a program that has seemed to have lost track of its purpose..
While the old version 6 was great, it became buggy with iOS 10 and completely stopped working with iOS 11.
Once hooked to them for logging your hours, they figure you’re willing to pay up royally to continue logging through their app, so they now charge 130US$ a year for the same functionality.
Very despicable way of treating customers that have already paid over a 150 US$ for version 6, that was sold and advertised as “pay once”.
You’re cheaper and better off to continue using, or getting, an older dedicated iPad running on pre iOS 10/11 and version 6 of their app.1door Squ******25/10/2017
