Knock – unlock your Mac without a password using your iPhone and Apple Watch

Ik heb nu een iPhone xs en daar werkt het niet meer op, moet nu eerst mijn iPhone openen, en op de app klikken, dan pas werkt het

App is to slow to connect. Typing in my password is faster than having to wait to have the app turn green on my mac and then kock twice. Last update 2yrs ago so product is dead.

It does not see that bluetooth is on and connected, so the app asks me to turn on bluetooth.
So when I switch Bluetooth off and then on again, it sees my mac, and it works again.
I never had this issue before under iOS10.

This app almost never works, only when I open the app it appears to work. But opening the app takes more time than actually typing my password.
Also, for some weird reason there is still no feature to add multiple macs.
Too bad I can't get a refund from the appStore.

Er is een bug net het synchroniseren van de app. As dat eenmaal gelukt is, dan werkt de app goed! iPhone 6 mac book pro 15 ich 2015

App is snel en makkelijk te installeren en werkend te krijgen. Maar het daadwerkelijk ontgrendelen van de Mac werkt gewoon 9 van de 10 keer niet. Ook bij het goedkeuren van een installatie werkt knock eigenlijk nooit. Leuk bedacht, maar nog veel werk aan de winkel voor de ontwikkelaar.

1 in 10 times it magically works, how? I cannot tell. I tried deferent scenariOS to rule out problems but could not get it to work. The one time it did work, I really liked it, please make this a trust worthy app!

It appears a very good idea, with a nice website. But I was fooled.
Knocking does not work, I have to throw it on the floor, for to register the knock.
Perhaps 10% of the time, light knocking suffices.
If this app not improves soon, I will ask my money back

De app werkt goed, maar ontzettend traag. Voordat je daadwerkelijk kunt kloppen, kan ik mijn ww al wel 5x invoeren. Daarnaast MOET de app open blijven staan in de achtergrond.
Zonde van deze 5 euro.

Well in contrair to some other reviews here I had no problem to install and make it work. It works and does what it promises. However after 2 day’s I started to ask myself, why? I come back to office my computer is asleep. It doesn’t work then. So I need hit a key anyway to wake it up. After that it takes 4-5sek for knock to find my iPhone. So I already have my hands on the keyboard and it takes about 1sek to type in my pw…… Why should I move my hands of the keyboard to tap my pocket?!? I’ll give it another try when my Watch arrive but most likely not really my thing. And its too expensive!
Adding to my previous review. Apple Watch functionality doesnt improve the app. After waking the computer it takes 5-8sek to find the iPhone and another 10-15sek to get the message on the watch. Plenty of time to type.... Dont buy.

When i bought "Knock Knock" i thought they were not updating the app, because it took very long before receiving anything! At that point in time it worked only half the time and had to type my password manually many times. But since the last year they are updating it more and more, and it is getting better and better. That is why i think they deserved this review. Please keep going like this and make the app incredible good and fast and keep it that way!

Op MacBook Pro 2013 15" retina met iPhone 6 kreeg ik het niet aan de praat. Ook nergens een help functie of forum. Zou wel leuk zijn als het had gewerkt.

Prima App. Ik moest er erg aan wennen, aangezien het in de eerste instantie niet werkte. Maar als je met 4 vingers op je gsm “klopt”, werkt het goed! Staat alleen nergens beschreven… :-)

Werkt goed tot nu toe, alleen had gehoopt dat knock mijn mac ook zou ontwaken uit slaapstand. Als dat werkt, 5 sterren!

While trying this app out I was really amazed how simple and very effective this works.

New locking functionality is great, thanks for that! Would be awesome to get a widget for locking the Mac, in stead of opening the app. Also the possibility to active the Mac’s screen when it’s locked (so it can be unlocked quicker) would be awesome!

I'm really frustrated. Money gone and no working app. I tried to install on my MacBook pro, bought last week. I'm not stupid, but it does not work. Uninstalled and discarded even before Apple charged me. Which they will.
