Ingress

Thanks to Machina, the selfish minority who were ruining local play by creating massive fields have been thwarted. Now it’s returned to being the game it was intended to be, focused on local control, and it is fun again for everyone who matters. Great work, Niantic!

Had a lot of fun with the game and played very active. Probably would still be playing active if Niantic didn’t ruin the game with the prime interface. Before it was definitely 5 stars, now it’s not even worth the 1 star I gave.

Machina is destroying the game. Where we were used to create big fields with a group of Ingress enthusiasts, now with the “red faction” it’s impossible. Machina can make crosslinks. Links that cross through other existing links.
Niantic is not listening to its players and keeps Machina in the game. I believe Niantic is trying to kill the game Ingress so it can shut down the Ingress servers and put these to use for Pokémon Go (Niantic’s cashcow).
Please Niantic, give us our game back!

very nice game. good for your health , if played sensibly. BUT i can only get intel if i link either google of facebook. i dont, and will not use either! plz make intel available with only an apple link plz :)

The game dynamics of Ingress really encourage collaborations and wide-scale strategy. That makes it a fantastic means to meet people, both in physical and virtual space.

Mooi spel alleen als beginnend speler is een stad met weinig spelers is het niet te doen. Je portaals worden direct veroverd en beveiligd met hogere levels waardoor je kansloos bent. Erg jammer.

Een geweldig gaaf spel.

Still miss the old version.. was a 5 star game, the new version not so much. Still hoping for redacted to come back.

Ingress is still awesome. The game, the many possible play styles, the community.
Just install this game, choose Enlightened and give it some time. The learning curve is pretty steep, but once you get the hang of it, there is no better outdoor PvP game than Ingress :-)
Niantic, please fix Comm, Using Comm is an essential part of the gameplay. And try to communicate a little more with your player base. Make us understand certain choices.

They banned my account for unstable GPS location at my home address. They don’t want to unblock it.

Ingress is starting become an playground for everybody. Users are allowed to sloof, harrash and threaten other users if you play in their area without any Niantic action.

Sinds prime steeds meer pay to win geworden. Zelf regelende anti cheater werking vanuit de communities is sterk verminderd sinds pogo, terwijl er juist meer cheaters bij komen. Nu met CORE is het einde verhaal. Succes Ingress, ik ga nu uitstappen terwijl jullie boot zinkt.

Heel leuk spel, lekker buiten spelen maar dan met je telefoon.
Op plekjes komen waar je eerder niet komt.
Overgang naar prime was wennen maar bevalt mij goed.
Een spel waar ik al zoveel heb gezien, nieuwe mensen heb ontmoet.

The old ingress that later was called [redacted] was very fun, absolutely loved it, but the prime version of the game isn’t fun anymore. I find that sad.

The game offers so many different play styles. But more importantly the community behind the game is what provides the extra dimension to the gameplay. There are a few bugs that need to be solved, but these are not breaking the gameplay itself. So give it a try and reach out to the local community that will likely support you!

I used to play this game a lot and enjoy it. But I think they ruined it with the prime interface. Only thing I use my for now is requesting pokestops.

Dont be fooled by some of the negative reviews. Some people voiced their discontent when the new app called prime was released. The current app works fine.
There is something for any playstyle you like. Solo exploration, local player, teamwork up till a worldwide level. (Re)discover the world around you with this tactical game. Try to capture areas by going out into the world and let the game and community behind this game show you what is possible.
