iMPC

It plays a very short clip of the beginning, and nothing else. Going to "Edit Sound" shows the entire waveform, but auditioning it there does not work- the file plays all the way through with no sound. I have beathawk and Korg's Bilbao sampler,neither of these have this issue. I shouldn't have to screw around with removing metadata from wavs or whatever. I am afraid I just wasted 7€ on this product...

Akai is simply not listening to the users. Eventhough the app looks cool at first it gets worse and worse the more you use it and quickly notice the limitations.
No audiobus, no copy paste option, no slicing and so much more that is lacking making it only usefull for a simple Boom-Bap when bored, but far from usefull when trying to use it in a serious matterand/or in combination with other music programs.
Akai Pro is getting alienated from it's users and this app shows that clearly.
Just made to make money.
Beatmaker 2 is the way to go, eventhough it costs a lot more but it does everything IMPC is lacking.

To compared to beatmaker this app is garbage, you cant even delete your own samples, so you have to delete the app to make space. I owned an mpc and i think this app cant live up to its reputation. If you want fiddle around with samples and beats go for beatmaker 2, thats my two cents

The app feels great, but it's missing a lot of features to make this app really good. There is no song mode, timestretch, auto chop, only 4 tracks and no filters and only 3 fx. It's a great app to work out some ideas but, it's not (not yet) for creating whole tracks in my opinion.

Update messed up the app. Also this really needs a piano roll editor and a (much) louder clicktrack

From day one there have been issues with this app. I bought it when it was released and hoped it would be amazing but it isn't. Even with a new update it still isn't anywhere near as good as it should be with a major name behind it like Akai. Initially there were small problems with the GUI and there were crashes. Now the GUI is fixed but the crashes continue. Try using audio copy / paste for getting samples into iMPC and it will crash, making the whole user experience frustrating and pointless. There are far better apps available that do the job much better than this. Don't waste your money.

I like it A lot I would give it 5+ if this great app had chop multiple samples some extra tracks like 8 Or so, but overall its 0ne off the best apps
