IDAGIO Stream Classical Music

Vaak op spotify gezeten maar het is daar moeilijk om kwaliteitsopname te luisteren. Bij IDAGIO gaat dat goed. Alleen maar kwaliteit. Hartelijk bedankt

I want to love Idagio and it strongly encourages me to prove it.
I reported a battery draining phone heating bug in april 2024, was told to reinstall the app like an idiot, and unsubscribed. Now, June 2026, this problem is (finally!) being fixed. So I resubscribe - yes I have been watching out for this for two years.
I walk out of my wifi range into mobile, playback halts.
I want to play lossless FLAC in Firefox, which has supported FLAC natively for years and years, and I’m told I need chrome. Or download the Windows client, which is funny/sad because I’m not on Windows.
Playback on chromecast just halts after a while.
All of this is just incomprehensibly half-baked. The very core of a streaming app, the actual playback, just *has* to work flawlessly. Not for me necessarily, but for me to recommend it to my parents? Definitely.

IDAGIO truly nourishes my soul. Whenever I need to recharge I turn to classical music for inspiration. The dedicated team of IDAGIO introduces me to new pieces and genres I hadn’t previously encountered or appreciated. Fueling my restless mind with fresh inspiration :)

idagio is the right place to access a wide range and assortment of classical music. straightforward to operate, for example searching can be done on different criteria and playlists are easy to make. it connects to my sonos too.

Very rich and innovative streaming service for lovers of classical music genres and beyond. Playlists are a gem.

Since I started streaming music 4 years ago IDAGIO was and still is the one for classical music: the catalogue is huge (also new releases), the interface is well thought, it is supported by BluOS and music quality is great (when hi-res would be available then it would be perfect).

Idagio is the main source of classical music. All classical works can be found in almost all performances. Where available, booklets of information can be found.
Idagio has expanded my experience of classical music in the greatest possible way.

An excellent app, and by far the best classical streaming service available. Apple’s app by comparison seems like an afterthought

Nothing drains my iPhone’s battery like listening to idagio. This did not use to be the case but a few versions ago the problem popped up. The bug report is under investigation, admirably, but until the issue is resolved, the app is not really usable

My in IDAGIO as favourite marked albums are shown in the Bluesound app but only the first 30.
The same goes for the as favourite marked recordings.
My favourite artists or ensembles are not shown at all in the Bluesound app.
I have reported this issue several times in the last couple of months at the developers desk from Bluesound but nothing has been done about it.
Maybe the IDAGIO developers can take this up with the developers at Bluesound.
December 7th 2023: nothing changed. Still the same errors.

Hi, is it possible to share a created playlist with another Idagio-subscriber, without having to share each individual item in the list?

What is happening here? Some strange title appears in the e-mail field? Have tried deleting and reinstalling the app but no use. It works on the phone but not here. Usual bad IT = login and out and in again having saved (Written!) the correct user-Id and password. Great…

In de iOS app kan je met Apple login inloggen. Hun desktop app ondersteunt dit helaas niet. Waardeloos. Vooral geen abonnement nemen dus als je inlogt met je Apple ID.

Het lukt me niet om Idagio te verbinden op mn Windows computer naar mn Marantz receiver. Geen Airplay in windows, bluetooth lukt niet en geen adagio connect (zoals spotify) op de Marantz. Ook blijft zoeken lastig. Ik moet vaak door lijstjes met honderden werking in kleine letters doorwerken. Op mijn iPad is de verbinding naar de Marantz goed, maar hapert als ik op die iPad werk. Voordelen wegen op tegen de nadelen, maar het kan beter.

This is the only app that gets classical music and its metadata right. Great selection

When playing a single track, at the very end a tiny bit of the next track in the IDAGIO library is played. It’s just a fraction but very annoying.
Further I’m a great fan off the IDAGIO library.
