IBKR Mobile - Invest Worldwide

I want to start investing by depositing money from my ING bank account to my ibkr account but when I try to deposit, it shows me a qr code to scan it in my ing mobile application but how I suppose to scan a qr code that is on the screen? 1. To scan it, i needed to change apps, it is not possible to have 2 apps on the same screen at the same time. 2. The camera is in the backside of the phone and the screen is the opposite. For me this is quite amateurish experience.

It is possible to group the option by strategy, however, when tapping the grouped combo position, the app only expands or collapses the combo, but not going into the detailed page of the combo position directly.

I can not enter to app. Already second day. It asks all the time to provide password and sms confirmation and who knows what… but it keeps saying fund your account. Nightmare!
I can not enter to web page as it asks for another confirmation in app and which is not coming.
Guys you did ao much checks confirmation but your app is simply not working for new users. I will buy sell for this company shares as they will definitely had issue with new users in this quarter.
One more thing, support page is awful. Button for online chat brings you to unlimited FAQ.

The whole IBKR trading seems to be linked pages and portals and don’t feel solid on mobile. After activation I still cannot trade, need to enter extra contacts and trade permissions but gives an error contact id not found. Overall very disappointed in IBKR.

You hop out of the app for less than a minute to check paperwork and all the sign up data is wiped, real smart

When I open the notification the message is: There was an error communicating with te server.
The notification is not removed.
Persistent bug. Already 6 months. Still no fix :(

Lots of hidden charges and when i wanted to sell option at high price. They made my account readonly for 5 minutes. I lost 200€ . Highly dishonest broker. I am planning to move everything out now and close them.

Completely unusable infuriating app with constant pop ups that I can’t close, glitching off of pages

I’ve used IBKR for years and generally been impressed with product, support, and costs. However, they seem to have removed live chat and are taking days to fix something that is very urgent. Phone support in India not much help either - time to try some others.

Save the freaking information ffs! I gave up the third time I had to restart filling up my data from the beginning.

Please remove any presets in order setups. It makes no sense at all to put 100 stocks as a standard number in the ordering form. It causes costly mistakes when you’re placing quick sell orders

If you face any issue there is nothing they do for you. I tried to verify my address they rejected and without a valid reason they blocked my account.

Once you buy a stock in another currency, even if you have the money, IBKR creates a margin account for you. In essence, instead of owning that stock in that currency, you borrow from IBKR at an exorbitant rate, they have charged hundreds of euros. The app is not intuitive and made with hidden fees. Look at the margins and cash flows of IBKR stock that should already tell you how profitable they have become with hidden fees. It is a shame.

I’ve downloaded the app and at first sight all looks fine, but as soon as you want to do anything, the app is opening iframes/internal webpages or something like that. Then you need to confirm your action using 2FA, which is not possible because the 2FA (challenge / passcode) is generated by the app.
Other ‘bug’ that I found; I was trying to withdraw cash via the app, but was forced to stop this because of the 2FA issue. Then I tried to do this via my laptop, and I got a notification that it would no longer be free because ‘I reached the maximum number of free withdrawals’. So they counted the failed unfinished withdrawal as withdrawal…
I’m deleting the app and leaving the platform.

I wish I had the chance to properly use it back often i cannot log in due to server error

The most recent update is not an improvement for the ease of authentication, previously I could really easily authenticate money transfers without having to leave the app. Now I need to open up a browser window and do an additional challenge response step….in order to initiate a transfer. It is more cumbersome. Also I do not understand that IBKR still does not support Yubikeys or similar products for its 2FA.

User interface is horrible. Really hard to navigate. Impossible to understand their policy and pricing. Your orders can be disappeared and you are not able to find out why. Long queue if you need to reach out custome service.
