HanDBase for iPad

Been using Handbase for about 20 years now, on PC, iPhone and now iPad. Versatile and reliable. With this app I have built many applications for a variety of purposes. It is not for people who cannot think for themselves, for those with ideas and creativity, its uses are endless.

I have used this app for many years throughout its various incarnations, and would not be without it. It can store many different types of data, and display it in various ways to suit a range of purposes. True, there is no automatic synchronisation with the desktop or phone versions, but this can easily be done on a one~to~one basis.

This app is the first one I install on any tablet or mobile I buy. I have used Handbase in its various incarnations, for at least 15 years, and it holds masses of data that I have collected over the years. Versatile and reliable, and with no serious competitors.

Gekocht, waardeloos. Er zou goed met access samenwerken ....helaas.. Desktop software zit vol bugs en loopt vaak vast, relaties werken niet, koppeling aan access werkt niet. Zowel app als desktop software gekocht weggegooid geld! Het is een soort excel, platte database waar relaties niet werken.
Worthless!

HanDBase is a great and simply to use database application. I'm a long time user (started with my first Palm device). Wiith this tool, it is easy to create databases, even with relationships otherwise only available in relational DBs, but handling is far easier than with SQL. Databases can also be backed up and synchronized with Windows PCs. Forms can also be used for streamlining the display of records.

Heb de app pas twee uurtjes geleden aangeschaft, maar heb al wel 3 leuke databases gebouwd ( en aan elkaar gelinkt). Moet nog wel even gaan kijken hoe exporteren en importeren gaat vanuit Access, maar alles lijkt veelbelovend. Misschien komen er nog meer sterren bij: hou jullie op de hoogte.

Handbase doet wat het beloofd en je ziet gradueel verbeteringen. Het is een Vd weinige aps die werkt.
Nadeel; geen externe koppeling met adresboek van iPad
Wil nogal eens crashen.
Voordeel.
Je kan een soort en met van relationele database maken.
Koppelingen tussen verschillende bestandjes lukt en werkt
Export via mail of internet koppeling werkt goed.
Jammer dat de nieuwe functionaliteit rondom de "forms" nog niet werkt in deze versie. Op de iPhone werkt dit wel

I already use Handbase on my iPhone and before that on Palm.
I have built databases to organize my DVD, music and book collection and a electronic vault.
In short great app and worth buying.

Do not even consider buying this app. It does Not what it promises. Syncing is a nightmare, if you want to export from ms access to handbase you have to export to excel first, then to .csv then im port...the result is a loss of a lot of data, and that is why you buy in the app in the first place. The GUi is ugly and user unfriendly..in other words, an app that i would not even consider if it were free.
