Halide Mark III - Pro Camera

De filters en kleuren zijn prachtig en lijken veel meer op film foto’s.
Ik heb deze app gekocht omdat de foto’s van de iPhone zelf zijn veel te goed belicht zijn waardoor elk detail zichtbaar is. Dat maakt een foto juist minder mooi.
Vaak is de foto met Halide trouwens wel te donker omdat hij voor de lucht instelt. Maar ala je in RAW schiet kun je het makkelijk aanpassen.

The app cannot be used. Its a free download, but you cannot get past the intro screen. You’re instantly greeted with a very misleading “Try halide free!” button. In reality, this button launches an In-App Purchase for €22,99 with trial! Without informing you in advance - there’s zero mention of that price on that screen and that its actually a subscription, which is extremely misleading. Its that Apple warns you that you’re actually subscribing instead of getting a free trial, but the unethical developers of this app are trying to scam you. I hope Apple takes action against these horrible practices. Apps that are “free” without any usable feature should be banned anyway. In addition, “lifetime” is worded in a misleading way. It doesn’t offer you lifetime updates for Halide, but only for this specific version.
Either way, as I now know what kind of people develop this app: I won’t be returning to it.

P0 is not raw, the camera adds a significant amount of processing. The price is enormous for me. The application “mimics” to free and requires a subscription (subscription for camera app, yes)

Ik heb in het begin voor de camera app betaald en kreeg gisteren deze update En herstellen van gedane aankopen werkte niet en heb omdat ik toch deze app gebruiken wil ruim €32 betaald Nu lees ik dat het een bug was Maar ik ben wel mijn geld kwijt

Nice app with more DSLR functionality than standard iOS app. Found after some use that I was still searching for the always go-to’s. For me not that intuitive and even blocking me from having full control of the camera on an easy way.

I have bought Halide mark II on my iPhone 16 Pro Max for life. So when I bought my iPhone 17 Pro Max I thought I could use the app but there is no option to restore the purchase. So I contacted the support team last week and I still haven’t received an answer. In the description is also mentioned that there is a possibility to share the purchase with family when you have that enabled. But it wasn’t visible on the other phones. I have contacted them twice about this problem in the last year but still haven’t received an answer. I find it quite frustrating when I paid 70 euros for this app that it doesn’t work like it should.

Raw is not raw, but HEAVILY processed in a way it looks like is came from an analogue camera. They add tons of color grain, chromatic aberration, glare and yes, even local sharpening. It’s far from neutral. It’s made to mimic something like an haselblad, not to give you a true neutral image. There are way better apps for much much less money. Stay away from

Halide unlocks controls not possible with the default camera app. But it’s unreliable, slow, freezes or crashes too often. For making shots on the go, for example on holiday, it proved to be useless.

Process zero is not working after recent update. It keeps brightening up my image even if I purposefully underexpose it!

I was told that I’ll have a free 7 day trial but they charged me with one year subscription right away without the trial. And I can’t even get a refund. Scam

Ik had de volledige versie gekocht. Had ik nooit moeten doen. Er zijn apps die uitgebreider zijn. Ik had verwacht dat ik meteen mijn beelden kon bewerken zoals in Lightroom. De overige functies zijn het die 70 euro niet waardt.

Ik zag de app “Kino” van dezelfde makers, maar dat kostte geld. Toen ik dit zag dacht ik dat het een gratis alternatief was. Maar toen ik de app opende was het eerste wat is zag dat ik moest betalen. Er stond wel een link bij waarom het niet gratis is, en het excuus was dat ze “niet de optie hadden om het een maandelijkse betaling te maken” als ze de app zelf betaald hadden gemaakt. Ook zeggen ze dat het in de eerste regel van de beschrijving van de app staat, maar daar staat niks. Download het dus niet tenzij je bereid bent geld te betalen

Aankoop terwijl je niet eens kunt uitproberen wanneer je niet binnen 7 dagen hebt opgestart. Start de proefperiode dan op zn minst wanneer voor t eerst is opgestart. over blinde aankopen gesproken…..jammer maar direct weer eraf gegooid

At least let users make a limited amount of photos to try it. If it works I would’ve bought, but there’s no way to know without handing over your payment info.
Don’t come with BS about how Apple handles payment either. You could’ve offered 1-3 free shots.
This seems like bait.

Ik snap dat ontwikkelen geld kost. Maar 70 euro voor een app die iets anders omgaat met de camera?
Ik vermoed dat zelfs de aandacht m.b.t. het afkeuren van de app in scene is gezet.

iPhone has better camera , I don’t like it,
And it not clear, no option to cancel , refund back!
