GoPro Quik

The app is easy in use, places everything nicely from camera to the app and from there to the cloud (premium). I could always share an album, but they suddenly removed this functionality. That’s a bad thing: sharing no longer available in a cloud environment and not communicated well. Pity! For the same money I can upload it in OneDrive/Google drive and do have all options of sharing.

The GoPro app is painfully slow and feels years behind. Every simple action takes forever to load, sync, or process. They advertise AI features, but there’s nothing intelligent about the experience - it’s all manual and frustrating. Editing is clunky, uploads fail randomly, and the whole app feels outdated compared to other modern video apps. Definitely not what you’d expect from a premium brand.

Using an iPhone 15 pro and even then the app is glitchy. Footage can’t be loaded and with multiple 10 minute shots the app fails totally. The Mac APP is discontinued.
It does select nice parts of the film and the editing options are to the point and just what you need.
The overall score is because of the glitches and improper handling of larger files. With that takes way more time then needed to create a good clip.

Bad app focused on you buying a subscription. Difficult to export your video. External drives not supported. It's 2026 guys

If you have used the former Quick-app (named ‘Quick) for years as I have you would also agree that this follow up app is one BIG BORING ‘upgraded’ version. What have you done with it? Who made this? Hire back all of your former creative developers, because your new staff has ruined this former original & creative app. I have used the former app to develop short project-videos of international youth - & adult exchanges. Our viewers have always loved and complimented us on the playful edits used in our videos. But now? All gone, you have removed all those original, playful and creative edits. This app is BORING, the edits are DULL/standard, there are no original creative flows anymore, it looks like iMovie now. I’m very disappointed, because you have discontinued the former app ‘Quick’ so we can’t even edit our former videos anymore even though we had a paid version. Off to search for a replacement now, but certainly not this one.⛔️

Completely unusable. I have over 50 GB of video data and for some reason the app just crashes after 5-10 seconds after launch. No warnings. No crash messages. It’s just gone.

Great for really quick (pun intended) editing, but if you want to go deeper, you have to go to another app.

Met de app kan ik leuke edit en video’s maken. En hij werkt goed met de GoPro van mij. Het is echt een aanrader en het is geen onbetrouwbare app. Ik ben er helemaal weg van.

I paid good money for the camera and I expect a functional companion app that works without constantly asking me to setup an account and constantly nagging me about surrendering my private video to the cloud. Seriously, how difficult can it be to make a checkbox ‘I just want to use this offline’ and then let me use it without having to work through several nag screens each time I start the app?

Bought a new Hero 13 and went for the subscription, unfortunately nothing works smoothly and I simply cannot find a solution to easily upload my footage to the cloud. Nothing works as advertised, very disappointing

After redowloaden the app after my phone deleted it to make space, everything is gone, id did use 300 gb and once i reïnstalled 300gb was free and no pictures not videos were there, how do i recover?

Je moet tegenwoordig overal voor betalen. Eenvoudig een filmpje bewerken kost geld terwijl dit in het verleden standaard in de app zat. Gelukkig heeft gopro geen concurrentie vandaag de dag

Not much to say, it is buggy, asks you to keep the screen open during downloads etc..

Gebruikte deze app altijd voor mijn 2 GoPro Max 360, na een update begin van het jaar, is de app onbruikbaar geworden en is het niet meer mogelijk om simpel je 360 beelden te bewerken maar een bruikbare video.. GoPro’s ga ik maar verkopen en dan maar overstappen naar de insta 360. Erg jammer want sinds de GoPro 3 echt een GoPro fan!

It does the job but they can’t stop figure ways of trying to push the subscription. The worse way is allowing you to edit a movie but only be able to save it if you pay for a subscription.

Purchased quick subscription as also camera replacement was included, device broke and in the meantime the replacement service for my country was discontinued. Called them 10+ times but there was no help. Stuck with a broken device, unusable subscription and above all lots of lost footage! Worst customer service ever!
