First of all, you guys are SOOO insanely greedy like god damn i get you want money but seriously it comes to a point, second of all FANSERVICE we get it you guys want more male audience and stuff but genuinely STOP RUINING CHARCTERS PERSONALITY FOR YOUR FAN SERVICE like arle, sandrone, columbina etc 3rd of all you’re racist you make an whole nation baded of african and tribes pure white this is so racist, 4th of all i appreciate you guys working on that story but add a skip button, not everyone wants to play 8 hours long just for 2 primogems.

Genshin Impact is one of many gacha games, but it stands out for how incompetent the game devs are. They are not listening to the players at all and refuse to bring Genshin up to date (compared to other games they have released since, as well as others from different companies). Surveys are ignored. We are consistently getting recycled content, disappointing 'rewards', overused NPC and animation assets (quests with no gameplay, only dialogue and slight camera movements), dry events, no quality-of-life updates that matter and sloppy visual assets locked behind a paywall in both the main game and Miliastra. They're not trying to give players an enjoyable experience, they are milking people of their money, laughing in their faces and making us all slowly switch to Wuthering Waves, NTE, Arknights Endfield, etc. We want the game to improve, but I guess they just don't care.

It’s diabolical how they ruin so many designs of characters. Also their rewards are so niece that you can’t even get a guaranteed five star. The quest also is sometimes 3 hours long and that can be a simple side quest.

This game is NOT free to play friendly. I have played 2+ hours daily, for 2 months, just to barely get enough primogems to get 1 five-star. FIX THE REWARDS!

I used to absolutely love playing Genshin Impact. The world, music, characters, and exploration made it one of my favorite games for a long time. Back then, playing felt rewarding and exciting, and there was always something meaningful to work toward.
Unfortunately, over time the game started feeling less rewarding, especially for long-term players. Progress feels slower, rewards feel smaller, and a lot of the excitement that kept me coming back every day has faded. New content still looks beautiful, but the overall experience doesn’t feel as satisfying as it used to.
I still appreciate the effort put into the game and I have many good memories with it, but the current direction has made me enjoy it much less than before. That’s the main reason for my low rating.

rewards keep getting worse and worse, especially for F2P players to the point it’s unplayable.

You can do so much exploration but you get almost no rewards! Don’t start this game because they only care about people who spend a lot of money.

As a player from early 2021 (1.4) i’ve been playing this game for ages now, it’s been with me through tough periods, a worldwide pandemic and so SO much more. I personally am a huge dottore fan, heavy relate to dottore. But the 6.6 update broke me, it’s devastating to see the one character that helped me with comforting me (comfort character) and has led me to meet the most amazing people that i am proud to call my friends and online family will be gone. Hoyoverse, you need to change your ways

They hit the button with the 6.6 plot. Killing the (only) well-written antagonist, not giving him even a cut-scene or any information regarding his past life that was earlier only mentioned through random notes within a game and manhua and making the whole thing look as if it was ai-generated because it sounds so senseless and doesn't match the level it used to have.
The Fatui were originally portrayed malicious but to the point where Snezhnaya is almost there, we barely have any of The Harbingers left.
The rest either has quit and now is in good relationships with the traveler or was killed due to being “too bad”
Besides that, apparently there's no problem with Rhinedottir who is as bad of a person if not even worse than Dottore. Same goes for Sandrone.
Not to mention the fact that almost every character has fair skin despite meaning to represent different nations and races and the presence of sexualisation of the female characters.

60 pulls for 2 limited characters isn’t nearly enough do better. Billion dollar company btw.

Make dottore playable you stupid devs whats the point if giving us a cute highly anticipated character and then make him die when he is supposed to be immortal

Genshin impact became the most enjoyable game during lockdown in 2020-2021 however it genuinely became unplayable in 2024 because of how greedy they had become with the ingame currency (primogems) if you see this give it a ONE star so they’ll give us more primogems and better the game compared to hsr

This game SUCKS! I mean, not lorewise and all. But the rewards! What do you mean we get 60 pulls for two new characters?! That is ridiculous! I just want to get my favorites, but that is literally impossible! Everyone is talking about this hoyoverse, and you better fix the game right now, I’m boycotting it and so are others! So please, FIX YOUR GAME AND STOP BEING SO GREEDY! >:((

Very stingy with rewards, NOT f2p friendly.
Getting enough pulls for a character alone requires a full time job worth of time and even then it’s barely enough.
They never listen to feedback. Quality of life is terrible. Anything they do give comes with requirements and downsides that basically make it useless.
Events are getting more and more boring and rewards are just not worth it.
In short, playing feels like living in the current economy and it’s only getting worse

Meanwhile the updates that are coming are rather exciting along with many new characters, the rewards are not due to the fact if you lose in one patch you’ll have to work a lot for it just to get the limited character which if you get on high pity is impossible, with the fact that your guaranteed at 90 pity, especially since we’re only getting 60 pulls this patch for the ftp players, by all means to get the extra pulls it’d take them a lot of time which is impossible if you have responsibilities within real life, I hope the devs do add more rewards.

We’ve alr been complaining for ages abt the VERY low rewards, the insane powercreep and more. WAY more rlly, honestly its getting tiring how unoriginal some of the events are nowadays and EVERYTHINGS going into miliastra which barely anyone plays. Do better genshin, you’re a multimillion company.
