FollowMee GPS Location Tracker

The app works perfect , you can track live the location . Following the route what was taken also on card ( even with streetview) you see the times , how fast they moving . Perfect app !

Nadeel is dat als je hem als tracker wilt gebruiken je moet betalen. Dat was niet mijn doel dus ik heb er niets aan.

Very easy to use tracking app. Also works with older devices like the 3gs on iOS 6.
Unlike other tracking apps, the defaults settings use very little battery life.

Excellent app to keep track of your devices, works on laptops even without gps, but less accurate, on phones with gps high accuracy. Easy to find a parked car. Many options and settings, a very complete app.

I have been looking at this app as a replacement for expensive GPS trackers (including their expensive monthly subsriptions) and it works great. It has GeoFencing which will send an email when the phone is crossing the geofence boundries (I'm using an external SMS gateway to have this email being texted to my cell phone). When the device is not moving it does not update the GPS location to the server (saving your data subscription), however you can force it to update anyway (you can specify the interval yourself). I have set the app to "Full-time vehicle tracking device", which means it is tracking the device only when it is moving and sends an update when parked every 12 hours (interval is configurable).
This app puts my old iPhone 3GS to good use again! It now replaces my GPS tracking device (which was degective) with similar features for just a few $/€.

I have equipped my car with an older iPhone, installed FollowMee on it and thus use it as a GPS Tracker. This works pretty well and the good thing is that it is possible to see on a map where the tracker has travelled.
