Flighty – Live Flight Tracker

Started using the app recently, first impression the looks polished and complete but pricy.
Though, I do miss boarding times (start boarding / stop boarding). Or maybe it’s there but I don’t see it.

App itself is nice, but the prices are way out of proportion of anything reasonable.

One of the best travel apps.
The only 2 cons:
1. The pro version for life is very expensive though.
2. It doesn’t automatically input your flight data, manual entry.

Just downloaded this to replace Check my Trip. Very happy with the design and features. The price for the Pro tier is just ridiculous though. Imo this should cost €6 per year, not €6 per week.

Great app until onetime it said my connecting flight had a two hour delay.
To find out at the gate my flight wasn’t delayed at all and I missed my flight!
What’s the point of this app if I can’t trust the data and have to double check everything anyway?

Great app, love aspects of it … the infographics and so on. One small grouse is that in EU you dosent support importing from tripitPro am was wondering if you would give an alternative fo us to upload our flights from various platforms using a xls or csv?
Otherwise nothing to complain about I am recommend it to my friends and we fly all over for a while so keen to see how this looks if we managed to get all our flights in place

Ik vlieg gemiddeld 20-30 keer per jaar en met behulp van deze app is het handig om komende vluchten (en die ik in het verleden heb gevlogen) bij te houden

I have been using Flighty for several years now. Flighty is my go to app for gate numbers. For European flights, Flighty is not as up to date as I would like. Version 4 was a huge improvement, but I still need Flightradar24 to complement Flighty.
I love the ability to have friends flights easily available. I also love my flight history, including Flighty telling me when I have been on a plane before.
The brand new heatmaps are fun, but not reliable just yet. Some flights where I had only one trip (to go and to return) are in the category 2-9, while I have been there only once. If go and return counts as two, then all my flights should be thicker lines, as I don’t have any routes where I have only gone one way.
My wishes for improving:
1. Show the planned boarding time. Flighty doesn’t want to show this because it is mostly not accurate. It is an essential piece of information that is missing. I would rather have the potentially inaccurate time than having to go to my airline app. On top of this, various other times that Flighty does show are at least as inaccurate.
2. Up to date information for European flights. Version 4 was a big improvement, but we are not there yet. Too often (about 10% of my flights ), Flighty doesn’t know what plane I will be on until after I am already in the air. Again, I rely on Flightradar24 for this information. Flighty support blames the European airlines for being behind in technology. This is not a good excuse as Flightradar24 does have the information.

This app is so useful and so informative, that airlines should partnership with them and make it totally free. It would make flying so much more enjoyable and efficient.

Halloween is not an holiday in the country where I live, I can not disable the theming unfortunately

If there was an affordable option for a month I would definitely use the pro option. But it’s just to expensive.
But still 3 stars for what it currently offers as a non pro version.

An absolute must have for the frequent flyers! It adds to and supports the travel experience! Lots of helpful info and notifications and fun statistics! One of the best apps out there!

You can very easily get most of the information in this app elsewhere - for free. The only thing I can't do myself is the live information on lockscreen. Also very expensive compared to other flight trackers. Like, really really expensive. Not like aww, I can handle it, but so expensive that you start to think about, you know, maybe I should not get this subscription but buy a tropical island. Now that's expensive.

I was pleased to use and recommend Flighty. However, since the start of the year, at 2 flights it did not detect that they were airborne. It only states that it was still at the gate and overdue. Luckily, other apps still useful to stay updated, I hope these bugs are fixed soon.

When trying to add flights via the calendar app (apple) it doesn't import all flights. Been trying to add the others but no succes.
Limited options to import. In Rosterbuster you can just upload a pdf of your schedule. Works like a charm.

I use it all the time to keep my family updated about my travel plans, even when I’m in the air.
