FitMenCook - Healthy Recipes

If you can make me write a review, you are definitely doing something right … Worth the money if you:
1) have a Standard American Diet and want to explore healthier food in a way that does not put you off
2) have limited cooking skills; most recipes are demonstrated in a video
3) are looking for ways to include more veggies and fruit in your diet in a male friendly way
4) already have a healthy diet, but agree to the fact that the taste is often on the bland side and are looking for ways to spice things up
As a woman who has been eating superhealthy for the last 10 years, I have to agree that health food tastes more bland and can become pretty boring over time. Also, it is difficult to translate national health food recommendations to what an average man would like to eat and the fact that fit men need more calories than fit women. It seems like most healthy recipes are made by women for women, without a clue about what men need and want. Very refreshing to see Kevin practice his views on ‘healthy AND tasty’. I rather hear from a man how to please male taste buds :-)
Kevin is definitely filling a void here. RESPECT for your contribution.
Minus point: too much oil, salt and heated oil. Not all recipes would qualify as health food. But you can adapt this to healthier standards in your own kitchen.

Bought the app for specific recipes promoted on the insta page. I could not find them.

Recepten rechtstreeks van zijn website / YouTube met weinig toegevoegde waarde. App functioneert matig.
To the dev: please allow for sorting based on cooking method, for example a TONNE of recipes require an oven, which I don’t have. I’d like to either filter those out, or see an alternative cooking method.

I simply love this app. The recipes are family friendly (portion wise too).
It helps me plan the meals for the week, taking all the stress out. Kuddos!

Very nice recipes that I have never seen before! The built-in shopping list is very handy and so is the Apple Watch app.
I wish there was an option to discard all the recipes where an oven is needed, since I do not have one and a lot of recipes need it!

Super app. Zelden iemand gezien die zo enthousiast en met zoveel overgave een app bijhoudt, nieuwe recepten en functies toevoecht en voorziet van zoveel info, foto's en video's. Als je een beetje serieus met voeding bezig bent een aanrader al zijn niet alle ingrediënten even makkelijk verkrijgbaar in Europa.

This app is really amazing. Especially prepping recipes are very good. Next to that all measurements are clear, videos are good and updates are done regularly!

Made a couple of the featured recipes and they don't disappoint.
Also very nice the macros per serving, love it.
Latest version doesn't seem to support posting your results to Instagram, that's a shame but can still be done manually.
