Buddy: Budget & Save Money

I really LOVE this app. The only thing that’s a bit annoying is that the synchronization doesn’t work most of the times. I have now 3 days with zero spending because it doesn’t update correctly. My app is in German and my bank is in the Netherlands where I live (ABN) maybe that’s why? I’m never really up to speed on the app.
Besides that, great overview and functions!

Had really high expectations and paid for premium.
However, sometimes transactions are not being retrieved on iPad. And some transactions does not sync between devices, so when you want to change the category or delete one, you need to do it on both devices… which is so frustrating - it’s like having 2 different environments when the whole point is to have 1.
Really unfortunate I had to pay money for such an unfinished product.

A nice way to keep track of expenses and saving money.
1. App is stuck after changing colours.
2. A dark applogo would look more professional

the app looks nice and seems to work well. i just didn’t find it very useful for planning my money.

The app is great and very functional for tracking expenses and budgets for different wallets and cards. I am just wondering if you will add the shortcut to add expenses on iOS?

The app stopped working all of a sudden. It doesn’t open. I tried reinstalling it and restarting the phone

2 dagen deze app geprobeerd. Het syncen gaat opzich goed, de app ziet er visueel erg mooi uit ook. In het budget gedeelte was het voor mij soms niet duidelijk waar bepaalde bedragen op gebaseerd waren bij bijvoorbeeld ‘nog te besteden’. Ik ben uiteindelijk niet verder gegaan met de app omdat mijn telefoon echt heel erg warm werd elke keer als ik de app gebruikte en mijn batterij binnen no-time volledig leegtrok. Dit laat me twijfelen over wat er allemaal op de achtergrond gebeurd. Nu de app verwijderd en mijn telefoon wordt niet heet meer/gaat weer minder snel leeg als met de app.

We really want to like this app,it has smaller and bigger bugs, but the fact that you cannot reach the customer service, like never, makes the whole situation so bad, so we may consider switch to another app.

Ever since the update I can’t see my total of upcoming spendings. Making the app kinda redundant in my opinion. E.g., I can see all the single items (for instance healthcare 200, insurance 150) but not the total (350).

I paid for premium and it does not connect with my ABN AMRO bank. I’ve seen reviews from a year ago saying the same and nothing has changed I see. That’s not good.

Transactions that are planned should also be calculated already according to how much you are still able to spend this month.

Love this app, been using it for a few weeks now and i must say it is easy to use. With this app, i know more about my own finances and save more at the end of the month.

Buddy is an amazing tool for planning your budget, and having an overview of all your expenses. It’s easy to use, and the customer support is very friendly and helpful.
Some things could be improved, such as support for accounts with different currencies, but on the whole it’s an amazing app! Highly recommended!

I was looking for a financing app that gave me more insight in my spending and how much I have left over during the month. But what is the point of a budgeting app if there is not a setting where you can set at which day in the month certain expenses get deposited or debited. It will always say I have X amount of dollar left to spend while in reality I do not. I don’t want to do it manually. That defeats the whole purpose.

I downloaded this app and paid for a premium subscription; however, it did not work as expected (it kept prompting me to sign up for premium despite me already having signed up). I contacted customer service, but their suggestions did not help. I deleted the app and asked for a refund, but it was denied. Waste of €52.

The app itself is very well designed and UI is good as well BUT it only supports one single bank which makes it a NO WAY to me. It’s a must have feature for my use cases.

A bit of a scam really. I had to pay the subscription to connect to my bank but it gave an error. It does not work with ABN AMRO. The free part of the app works very nice.
