AUM - Audio Mixer

This one makes a great User Interface to get all your music apps in one place mix and sync. Also a great app to use with hardware Synths and Drummachines. It gets better every year.

Such a great app, such a big limitation. Please allow it to accept External MIDI clock, so it could be slaved from hardware or other apps.

Use this mainly in combination with my eurorack for end of chain processing and to cheat my way into a bit of cheap polyphony, sequenced via midi from the rack. If only it would support midi clock in! Still a decent 5 star…

This app is fantastic so many routing possibilities im real glad i found this when i started to use iOS to make music 2 years ago

No matter how many times I restart my iPad when I try to set an audio unit it says that there are no Audio Units that I should try to restart

Terrific application. Very flexible, easy to use, lots of possibilities, incredible performance and I can go on and on.

Compliments on the nice UX for producing music in this way.
One suggestion i do have:
The swiping up per channel to start moving them around, is the same swipe for the OS to show up the dock.
So this gets many times mixed up. Eg when swiping up to show dock and switch do differnt app, then actually the channel is triggered to be moved around.
Maybe a tap n hold for the channels to start moving around?

I tried many times to make a configuration which split my sounds over the keys of my external keyboard. Using the internal keyboard it works but with an external midi keyboard it won’t work. I would like to have a step by step instruction how to do this! If this works this app is amazing!
Update: Yesterday i found out when using audio units v3 as synths it works. The secret is that with inter audio apps keyboard splits do not work. Took me quite some time to discover this.....question remains.....why can’t inter audio apps not be split over the external keyboard?

The best even got better with the new april 2019 update. It has a new killer feature: switching AU-presets with midi. Opens up very interesting possibilities.

It can run at 96khz sample rate 32bit when used with appropriate audio device.

Ik gebruik deze app met een Tascam US1608, Amplitube Acoustic en Electric, Boss MS-3 en een Mooer Radar. Ik gebruik de versterker modellen van Amplitube en de effecten van de Boss MS-3. En de Mooer Radar verzorgt de impulse responses van Celestion. Door de effectlooping van de Boss MS-3 en de routing mogelijkheden van de Tascam kan ik een ongelimiteerde samenstelling van geluiden en effecten maken. AUM maakt dat dit goed te verwezenlijken is en is daarbij ook nog eens midi aan te sturen. In combinatie met de Tascam heb ik een latency van 1,02 ms bij een sample rate van 44,1 khz en een sample diepte van 24 bits. Volledigheidshalve wil ik wel opmerken dat ik gebruik maak van een iPad Pro 10,5 inch en die beschikt over meer dan voldoende processorkracht.

Handig voor live gebruik of om even snel te experimenteren met verschillende apps. Werkt ook goed met midi controllers omdat je alles kan toewijzen (midi learn) inclusief de volume faders. Je kunt het ook gebruiken als midi router/filter. Top.

What about implementing a midi option: you open .mid file and get to choose a channel per track (like fl studio does)?
I have pretty much all AUv3 plugins (phlox phaser works a bit shitty though). I wish there were more.. Anyway, thumps up, phenomenal job.
This app rocks the kick out of your ass!
