Airmail for Gmail Outlook Mail

I’ve been dealing with a simple push notification issue in Airmail for more than a month now. I was forwarded to second-line support and emailed them multiple times afterwards, but I stopped getting responses completely.
Still no solution and I’m still not receiving push notifications. Very disappointing customer service for such an important basic feature. That’s why I can only give 2 stars.

As a long time user, I first payed 10,99 Euro for years for the annual subscription (after the first promise when I bought the lifetime app) and now the new renewal price shows me to pay 59,99 euro’s annually! Are they crazy?
This was one of the best Mail apps available. Now the Liquid Glass update ruined a lot of functionality which I had before and now this price increase is ridiculous!
I cancelled my subscription. What a shame.
The app is still projecting their Apple award which they got in 2017 (9 years ago !) At the meantime lots has changed and not for the better.

Why would you pay for sending and receiving e-mail if there is iOS mail Outlook and Gmail. That’s pretty stupid. Professionals? man…..i’m sending like 400 mails per single day. Workflow is in your hands and head not in this app. Again..! paying for this is silly.

Overall a fine app. Since the last update I’m experiencing problems with the cloud sync across different devices. Because of this bug deleted emails keep reappearing on other devices.

The last bug fix “fixes” setting the theme from auto to dark or light not working, not by fixing it like a decent developer would do, but by simply removing the option to do so. If the developer had any respect for its users, they would actually fix things instead of coasting on the apps past success. This went from the best mail app (although that was quite some time ago) to one of the worst. An absolute joke!

Had deze voor 1 jaar aangekocht en wilde dit verlengen echter de app kan niet meer in witte modus gaan alleen als ik de iPhone in witte modus zet dan wel. Ik hoop dat ze dit kunnen oplossen voor november tot zolang loopt mijn abonnement. In thema zou ik dat kunnen maar helaas werkt dat niet meer.

The Airmail action button 'send to Omnifocus' in iOS was not working anymore in Airmail for iOS 5.8.35. However, it was working fine in Airmail for Mac. I sent an e-mail to Steven of Live support. He replied very quickly and the matter was resolved. It now works both on iOS 18.4.1 and 18.5.

The free version is not usable, some important functions are blocked and there is continuous begging to upgrade.
I bought the app long ago, the promise for long time user of a free upgrade is not kept.
I removed the app from my iPad.

When you select the button unread ⚙️messages, the way back to all mail is not possible. Just quit en re-open the Airmail app is the solution.

Had issues adding images to an email so i decided to reinstall the app. Adding a outlook mail account does not go well. I have to pull many tricks before the button responds. Then later i When am able to add the photo to the mail and i resume editing i cannot scroll in the mail anymore. The screen is stuck. When i try to reopen the concept mail it is not possible. Had to start the mail over again.. i cannot recommend this app. It has many features most people wont use.

I actually like all the option of Airmail. Highly customizable with a good looking UI. However, after paying for the pro version the app kept asking to verify my gmailaccount…or delete it. Over and over again, sometimes every few seconds. Everything was setup correctly and working, the first day. The second day I did get new mail notifications but couldn’t find the corresponding mail. Tried to contact support to find out there isn’t any. The chat option brings you to this App Store page. Very bad service for a paid app. Beware!

It used to be a great app and I loved it! Used al the first app(s) on my Macbook and iOS Devices (paid app en currenty subscription) Unfortunately the problems started with push-messages and the HelpCenter is very late with response and won’t seem to help that much anymore. Very, very sad for such a great app. Was here since the beginning but looking for an alternative mail-app at the moment.

Since iOS update receive many currupted headers and e-mails. Only iPhone, not IMAC. Support is terrible and don’t respond. Don’t buy !

I like the app. I like the support. Got a to the point answer from Steve when asking for help.
I hate the popup for the paid version though. This show like every 5 seconds.. This doesn't persuade me buying the pro version at all. And I don't need the pro version. I just have this installed to read my mail when not at home and using my I pad. I do the rest of my mail on my PC.

Every once in a while a “buy pro” style pop-up is no problem. Dozens of times a day is not funny anymore. There are also lots of pop-ups about connecting or disconnect to/from the Gmail account you are currently using. Long story short….removed the app.

The popup shows like every 5 seconds. Please quit showing the popup so often. This doesn't persuade me buying the pro version at all.

Is there a video (YouTube) available to explain all the possibilities that are present in Airmail?
