YACReader - Comic Reader

Very good app! Very tweakable, great panel by panel navigation, decent cloud integration. And all for an affordable one-off price, no subscription or dumb in-app purchases.

Before the last update, in August 2024, I could continue reading where I left off the last time. This isn’t working anymore, the Continue Reading section is empty, and I have to manually find the comic I was reading. That comic then starts at the first page again.

This was the main reason I got this app. Very sad to see the google drive support disappear. Unfortunately I’ll need to move on to another app. Everything else about this app is great btw.

This is simply the best Comic Book Reader out there!
Visually stunning, easy navigation, many option for adding content and handy tools. Highly recommended

I love the app, best reader around. I would just like it if they would add the option that my comics (cover) on my iCloud can be previewed in the app without downloading the whole file immediately. Since I have a lot of comics/manga but not so much storage space

De beste comic reader die er verkrijgbaar is, elke cent meer dan waard. Ik gebruik hem samen met de YAC library op mijn pc, overzetten van comics van pc naar iPad is zeer gebruiksvriendelijk, en heb je geen YAC library op je pc, via Dropbox is het ook zeer makkelijk om meerdere comics in één keer naar je iPad te over te zetten.

Een goeie comicreader app die je gemakkelijk je comics laat lezen die je op afstand kunt benaderen.

In combinatie met de Yacreader library (op een PC of Mac) is deze comic reader nauwelijks te verslaan. Ideaal als je een grote verzameling digitale strips hebt!

If you have a large collection of digital comics, manga, BD or fumetti, this is by far the best solution you can find on the market. It’s server solution is second to none. Kudos to the developer

There is not a app on my iPad that crashes so many times as yacreader. The features are great, reading is intuitive but importing is a big challenge, more a yuckreader
