Wi-Fi SweetSpots

Sinds the last update the projecties WAN speed is no where near the 1Gbps speed. This worked fine before. It is now capping up to 230-250Mbps?

Does exactly what it is supposed to do - measuring, plotting data collected, average data when requested and storing results the way you like. Amazing to see how much improvement is possible just by changing position of access point and/or smartphone.

Finally a tool that just measures throughout between a client and wireless access point it is connected to. Ideal to test how your WLAN is performing. No internet download speed tests in this tool. If you want that you can choose every other 'Wifi speed' app in the AppStore.

I used the app to map out wifi strength-actually network speed but that's what really counts-on the ground floor of my house for three different LANs. I used the result to place a repeater at a location where it would be most effective. Worked like a charm!

Very basic and limited tool
Suits if you only want to see wifi bandwidth. Nothing more

It is a good and simple app to show the connection speed to your wifi router. This helps me to determine router placement, and switch WiFi stations if needed. It is also fun to check the ac vs n (5 vs 2.4 MHz) throughput and range in my house. Storing locations does not work, but I don't miss it very much. Perhaps latency could also be added.
