Waygo - Chinese, Japanese, and Korean Translator

Used it during a holiday in Japan a few years ago. It could not help me with the characters on the washing machine but gave us a few good laughs. I’ve been using it with Chinese characters recently and it’s been giving me decent translations!

Take photo and see directly what the chinese letters mean.
You have to be close enough, don’t try take the full page or overview. Do it in parts and it works very fast.

Very useful app when traveling in China! Only app that I know off that translates Chinese text without the need of an internet connection. The single line works well, the multi-line tends to get a bit chaotic, but the app is great for reading signs on the street or in stations, and restaurant menus.

I tried using it and it was horrible.It has only 10 chances of using it,Very disappointing and doesn’t work.( Maybe this is a scam so be careful.)

Bought the Japanese translation.
Doesn't translate a single word correctly!

it's not translating at all the way it shows in the ad above - with the app I point it at the text, and a very rambled translation appears. It gets stuck often, and it seems to be only about food as even text that is not at all about food, gets a foodie-translation. weird

I've tried a few apps befor Waygo but this is by far the most accurate. Thumps up

I'm on vacation now in Japan and am completely grateful for this incredible app. Worth double the price!
It just works! Point it at text and you get the translation... more or less. Sometimes the translation is a bit too literal but that provides plenty of laughs. =)

This works really well, but just 2 stars because the limited function to food only.
Hopefully the full version will come soon, because I don't have that much difficulties to order the food in Chinese.
