Based on user feedback, I have brought back all the factory presets from version 3.0. There is now a section in the preset list called 'Legacy Presets' that contains all of the presets from version 3.0. The 'Factory Presets' section has the new presets from version 4.0.

MeerAfter the 64-bit update Uzu has become even prettier. Now running in retina mode and with plenty of movements to play around with, you are guaranteed to have to enjoy watching those pixels fly across your screen. It also has an "auto finger" mode whereby it simulates fingers pressed on the screen so you can have it play wonderful patterns and effects without needing to interact with the app. Great for displaying on an Apple TV if you have one. Built-in screenshot mode is now also available (but not yet video recording like Frax) plus a whole new interactive menu on screen to quickly set your preferred preset. Awesome!

MeerDespite not being optimized for a retina display, it is without a doubt the best kinetic particle visualiser. I have tried many, both free and paid apps but Uzu stands out above all the rest. You can use up to 10 fingers to create the most amazing particle shows on your iPad. It comes with many presets that you can flick through or you can create your own. It's also possible to let it 'play' by itself and you can just sit back and enjoy the show.
