UniFi Protect

I have no idea what the app is doing. I’m trying to play a video and nothing happens except the play and post button change.
I tap on play and the video doesn’t play. This seems to me a prime functionality of any video player.
Also, scrolling the timeline updates the screen, but no video ever plays for any “movement detected” high-res video.

In the start screen all the movements for a short periode are shown. When you switch further to all movements some ar not shown anymore. There is a new button where you can choose between smart, bask and all. The default is not all, so there is a difference between the 2 screens.

The app works but needs a lot of improvement in the usability area. Too much vertical space is wasted, The “timeline” is using too much space and navigation between cams and functions could be way better.

When you only own Ubiquiti hardware probably the best, but lacks with 3th party hardware => no notification, no smart options...

Waarschijnlijk is er een update geweest. Nieuwe interface, alle bewaarde beelden weg en een nieuwe functionaliteit “find anything” die niet eens gezichten herkent. Werkte voorheen perfect. Ik heb spijt dat auto-update aan staat.

Always offline only accessible via videorecorder. Picture quality very vage, price-quality ratio very unfavorable.

It works, it would be better to receive the notify as call. It takes to much time to pick up your phone, unlock it, start the app, wait, click on camera image, then press talk!

After a while I’m logged out of the console in the app everytime

Overall, I’m a big fan of Ubiquiti’s products. Also the app for iPhone and iPad work flawlessly most of the time.
The tvOS app however seems to be unstable. On some of my Apple TVs (all 4K) I’m being signed-out without a clear reason. I use the app multiple times per day but this still occurs.
It would be nice of the tvOS app would get the option to change the order of the camera views and picture in picture.
It would also be nice if we could answer the doorbell via the Apple TV app and it’s remote.
Please make the app more stable and please resolve the bug.
The Protect app has a lot of potential but it hasn’t been unlocked yet.

Hello developers, please add PiP for Apple TV and thank you.
And maybe add some new options?

Jammer dat ik naar instellingen moet om in of uit te zoomen en dat niet in het scherm kan.

Perfecte spul camera deurbel wat je ook mar kan bedenken wifi switch Accespoint. Alles werk perfect. Betere heb ik nog nooit gezien

I like the app and the features.
I just hate that loading/opening the app when the doorbell rings, it’s always to slow and you are too late to answer.

Please add Apple HomeKit support for Unifi Video Protect cameras!
And please add PIP video for Apple TV device, I am waiting for a packet while I am working or watching a movie, so I need PIP :P

Eigenlijk is er geen mooier en beter systeem dan Ubiquiti, zowel met protect als netwerk echt top. En met de cloudkey eenvoudig te beheren.

The app works really intuitive, even when you have lots of cameras. But the doorbell function is not working as how i would want to see it. Typically building up the connection is very slow. Also talking to the people at the door 8 out of 10 times is not working.

Last update drained my battery 50% of the usage came from protect while I didn't even use or open the app once , and was not open in the background.
