TouchOSC Mk1

Although iPadOS is perfectly capable to access USB drives or download files in the browser, the manufacturer of this software has not associated the .touchosc file extension with the app, and not built in a filebrowser, though Apple provides APIs for that. So the only way to install templates is by installing a desktop app on an external computer. This is so 2007 and iPad software shouldn’t be like this anymore. Can we please fix this?

The app simply doesn't work. It's all over with bugs! I regret every euro I spend for this app! Don't buy this stuff but spend more money for better software and hardware!

It is a good app but it would be nicer if it could be connected not only through WiFi but also with USB or Bluetooth because it is impossible to depend on an (Often) unstable connection while performing.

Je kan hier een controller mee maken voor al je software die met osc of midi signalen werken.De touschosc editor moet je op je pc installeren om de layouts mee te maken en daarna kan je deze in je iPad openen.Het is het makkelijks om gewoon de touchosc bridge driver op je windows pc te installeren om verbinding te krijgen en ook als het kan een directe wifi verbinding met je pc maken voor het beste resultaat.

Took me a few weeks to understand all of this but now with a wifi direct connection with my pc it works great and build my own 16 channel mixer and different keyboard and drumpad layouts for my fav music daw. Really fast response like with my usb midi keyboard. The touchosc editor could have some more midi auto assigning features,because now you have to assign all notes one by one, but it works and its pretty cool to build your own midi controller and it also works with your iPad apps.
I love this program and almost dont use my usb midi hardware anymore.
For all the people that dont understand this app,its an app to build a remote controller with your pc for all kinds of software that works with midi or osc messages. If you use this with music software just download and install the touchosc bridge app on your pc and make a wifi direct connection for the best result.

I use this app to control the lights in our club. With a custom layout I have total control over all intelligent lighting just sitting at the bar.

Best app ever. Need some time to know how to use it. You need osc editor on your computer and sync but its great.

Works great integrated with ableton and traktor. Loads of templates to be found online. Setting up might not be as easy for starters.

I downloaded the app, but i can't do anything in it because i can't load music..

When connected with my Mbp, safari won't load pages and comes with an 'not connected to Internet' error.

Failes to connect to ableton live, no decent tuts available. No use to it whatsoever

Briljante app. Ik heb de app in gebruik op iPhone en iPad als remote voor DMX software op mijn MacBook. Als je handig bent met computers kun je na enig gepuzzel met de instellingen snel aan de slag.
De software om zelf layouts te maken is binnen 5 minuten te begrijpen. Binnen 10 minuten heb je eigen layout op iPad en iPhone via ingebouwde sync functie.
Werkt snel en goed.
In gebruik is de app razendsnel. Geen merkbare vertragingen in mijn toepassing. Ideaal als je licht en geluid tegelijkertijd wilt doen. iPad op de mengtafel en doortikken maar.
Kost een paar euro, maar is het dubbel en dwars waard!

Ik maak gebruik van de irig : er komt geen midi signaal uit de iPad
Werkt ook niet via wifi .
Miskoop!

Ik gebruik deze app in combinaties met DMX lichtsturings software. Werkt goed en gelijk herkent met en zonder extra software (zonder alleen op de Mac.) dus ik ben blij!
Let wel, het is een app voor besturing. Niet om tracks af te spelen, zoals sommigen hier verwachtte. ;)
