Telegram Messenger

I’m not sure what’s going on with Telegram lately, but I’ve been using it for many years and it has become increasingly unreliable.
The most frustrating part is opening my phone in the morning, seeing a notification that I received a new message, opening Telegram, and finding that the message is simply gone. It’s incredibly confusing. I end up asking someone why they deleted their message, only for them to tell me they obviously didn’t.
So what’s happening here? Is this a server/synchronization problem, or did the person actually delete the message? As a user, I have no way of knowing, and that creates a very bad experience and leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
Whatever is going on over there, I’d really appreciate a proper fix for once. I’ve used Telegram for years, but I can’t keep trusting a messaging app when messages and calls apparently aren’t reliably reaching the other person.
Fix the reliability issues and I’ll happily update my review to more stars

For about one year my messages are read by my contacts with significant delay 1-12h. One year before everyone was responding instantly. Looks like there is some moderation in transit.

This app allows for communication and information gaining on a different level, the features enable user experience like nowhere else!

The Telegram support is not answer the message actually this application don't have any service nobody care about your account your problem your issue I tried to make contact with Telegram support more than hundred times but not answer even once Telegram was hacked and I'm so worried about my information my family and friends and I open case for Telegram still nobody answered that horrible application very bad application and unsafe application please please this application

As long as Telegram, for security reasons, doesn’t allow you to block messages from strangers ‘for free’… it’ll remain a 1-star rating. And I’ll keep repeating this regularly, so that this review stays at the top.

I got a lot of people adding me that were exposing me and manipulating me while being no even in their right
So if u read this RUN!

They worked great before. They still work great on other devices with larger screens. But they broke on iOS.
Other than that, great app. Rating will go back to 5 stars when the above is fixed.

Where are the settings in your app? I just want to disable video loop, because one time watching is enough… no need to play it every time… it is waste of battery life. Please fix your app!
I complained it because your setting to disable video loop doesn’t work.

The app keeps asking for contacts permission even after I have given it access to selected contacts.

I used to use this platform instead of VKMax because it had many features that weren’t available there. Yes, Telegram is supposedly a secure messenger, but that’s unlikely — it’s just marketing. Nevertheless, it had convenient features that set Telegram apart from the rest. And there was also a democratic policy towards users. But now all the convenient and unique features of Telegram are hidden behind a paid subscription. I used to save my workout plans in the notes and use formatting, and now you’ve taken that away too. Buying your subscription in my country is problematic due to the laws. You and Pavel Durov are disappointing. It’s more about putting on a show than honest politics. And Pavel has also closed the comments on his blog and removed the option to post a dissatisfied emoji — apparently, he’s afraid of that.

Once I was asking to chat in this app and I didn’t know this app existed so I downloaded it and she said wanna have fun and I said ladies first (I thought like she says here brawlstarts name or smth) and then she send a video of here playing with her and liking all the and putting the on her and oily aswel and then she said your turn and I didn’t show it so I just blocked her and deleted the app. (After that she shows the she film her doing oil on her and playing with and and there was even more and she ate it)

deleted chat with person A on web version, then saw it non deleted on phone app and deleted it once again, but app deleted dialogue with person B somehow

Notifications get delivered over an hour later when phone is locked, this is not what people want for “instant messaging” apps. Can’t find any troubleshooting for it, only loads of frustrated users with same issues across the globe.

There is a problem that seems to be related specifically to telegram.
A person sends me a message, Siri reads it. But if a person writes me another message, then Siri will read the previous one first, and then the new one. And so on ad infinitum. If he writes me another one, Siri will read the first one first, then the second one, and then the new one.
This happens regardless of the sender. It would be more convenient if Siri read only new messages, without repeating old ones.

The amount of things this app gives you for free is just incomprehensible. Best messaging app ever
